A very Merry Mason Jar Monday to you ! 😃💗 I have not done a Mason Jar Monday post in awhile have I?
Well last night , I pulled out my scrap bag and went to town strip piecing scraps willy nilly.
In no time, I had enough to applique a wee mason jar in pinks . It is appliqued to a 7 1/2" square. I am going to use these blocks for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge. I want to piece 3 more this week.
A new mason jar stitch is in the works as well. You know me and birdies.
I also wanted to share with you a February house stitch. This one is called Love Grows Here, and it is so pretty in pink. And can you believe those roofers added a red roof ?!!!! I think Cupid would be quite happy living here. Don't you?
Love Grows Here with Dorothy Mae's Spring House |
This is a small with a design size of 71 x 72. I stitched mine on 14 count aida that I tea/ coffee dyed myself. Click here if you are interested in seeing how I tea dye mine. I call it Messin' and a Gommin' for I am a messy at this process. Lol.
Ok now back to the stitch. Cupid has a green thumb for look at the large basket of blooms that he has on his roof. A few white hearts are scattered here and there.
I stitch my little designs for fun and to decorate my home. I feel very blessed by this community and love sharing my little charts, but I am not a professional designer. And I do not have professional software. Thank you for understanding . I am always grateful for your kind encouragement , your visits, and for stitching my little designs.
Happy quilting and stitching, ya'll
Melisa
