Aaah thank you so much, Donna. I got back into embroidery a few years ago. It was an easy project to take along when I am babysitting. I have always admired the vintage embroidered quilts. I am so excited to hear you will be giving it a shot. Hugs.
DeleteI love perusing through all your photos, quilts and do-dads, Melisa!!!
ReplyDeleteAaah you are so very kind, Nancy. It was fun for me to look back in previous posts to see what I have accomplished. I was surprised. Lol. Happy quilting.

ReplyDeleteAah I so appreciate it, Robin. Looking back at my previous projects certainly has inspired me to finish the quilting on some of them. Happy Thursday
DeleteSuch a beautiful quilt parade, Melisa. Your stitching patterns are adorable and your stitches are perfect!
ReplyDeleteAaah you are so very kind, Jeanna and thank you so much . I wish I could embroider like I used too, but sometimes I just have to settle with what these ole' hands can muster. Lol. Happy quilting.
DeleteA beautiful parade, Melisa--always enjoy seeing your darling quilts! ♥

Oh thank you so much, dear Isabel. You are always so supportive. I truly appreciate the sweet visit. Have a very lovely day. Hugs.
DeleteNo! Please, no more cute and enticing quilt and stitching ideas! I can't keep up! I've always said applique is SO not my thing and then here comes the carrot mini quilt pattern and your sweet little bunny friend looking me right in the eye. I can just see a whole basket of carrots and just bunny ears peeking up behind it. And my daughter and I tease each other about decorating the other's kitchen with chickens...and here is a whole coop of them (or at least one) just waiting to roost at her house. Then I caught myself looking at a corner shelf by my back door thinking I really needed to see if you had any little apple stitches that would go with my two apple pitchers...yes, you do! I don't know how you do it, but I can't seem to resist your homey style, Melisa. Now I'm off to see what is new on the Little Green Apples blog hop. Ooh, I really like the pin cushion with the folded corners for holding binding clips, and...

Eeeh , You made my day, Kris!!!! Thank you so much for bringing the biggest smile to my day. I am so glad I have been able to tempt you into some projects. It sounds like we are 2 peas in a pod for liking the country comfy look to our homes. Oooh and I bet you apple pitchers are adorable. Thank you again for the sweet visit and for making me a happy gal. Hugs.
DeleteI have enjoyed looking at your quilts and your spring doodle parade, so cute!

Diana I certainly appreciate that you dropped by for a visit. You are always so kind and encouraging and that means so much to me. Thank you my dear. Hugs.
DeleteDear Sweet Melisa, too much fun and treats with 2 Parades this week!! You have so inspired me and I send some of your sweet patterns to my daughter. We do enjoy getting together and seeing what we come up with when the stitching is done. I will admit that your finishing ideas win out most of the time, lol. Spring is finally coming to Arizona, if we can keep the chill from happening in the early morning hours. Citrus trees are finally starting to open and fill the air with that wonderful smell of orange and lemon blossoms. Have a wonderful week, I was sorry to hear that your last camping trip was too rainy. Sending you warm hugs from sunny Arizona.
ReplyDeleteAaw thank you so much, dear Mary. It just warms my heart to hear that you and your daughter enjoy stitching together. What treasured memories ya'll must make together. I do wish my girls enjoyed needlework- maybe someday. I can just imagine how heavenly the citrus trees must smell. I am so glad that it is finely warming up. I have heard the weather has had its up and downs in AZ. Today we reached a warm 80 degrees and it is supposed to be hotter tomorrow. I am so excited for the warm days.. Perhaps I will do some porch stitching tomorrow. Enjoy the spring sunshine, my dear. Hugs and blessings.
DeleteYou have the cutest designs, Melisa! Your strawberry quilts are calling to me right now. Thanks for sharing them with us!
ReplyDeleteAaw thank you so much, Diann. I try to create something strawberry related each year since my family has a strawberry farm. The stitcheries were quick and fun. Have a great evening. Happy quilting.
