Ya'll come back now, ya' hear!
The calf is a cutie! Pretty wildflowers! I have seen the purple blooms of the periwinkle along side our road this week. Means spring is around the corner!
ReplyDeleteI just love taking photos of the calves. They are such characters. We have a new one at the other farm, but I haven't been able to get a photo of it yet. Lol. Oooh I just love periwinkles I am anxious for ours to bloom. Happy Wednesday, Robin.
DeleteI love the donkey from Texas.
ReplyDeleteLol isn't he a cutie. We have a couple of donkies. This one loves to be petted though it always looks like it is as mad as a hornet. Happy Wednesday, dear and thank you for the sweet visit.
DeleteWhat a sweet walk-about. With all the cows laying down, are you expecting rain?
ReplyDeleteAahh thank you so much, Susie. When I took the photo, we were expecting rain. Just about every one of them were lounging about . I enjoy watching them . Happy Wednesday.
DeleteMy grammie used to say if the cows were laying down, fishing was bad. Wives tales are funny.
ReplyDeleteLove your "tour'".
Blessings
Oh how interesting, Donna. There always seems to be some truth in the wives tales. Hmm. I wonder if fishing was bad that day? Lol. Happy Wednesday . Hugs.
DeleteAdorable face! Just the smile I needed today. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteAaah thank you so much, Deb. I just love that little calf. The calves are my favorite to watch and photograph especially when they get fiesty. Hope you are having a wonderful day.
DeleteFun!!! Especially your donkey!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Wednesday, Nancy. Lol that donkey is a fixture on the farm. He is one of the nosiest of our critters too. It likes to be where the action is.
DeleteHi Melisa, surely you just? Are there ever lazy days on the farm? Your cattle look most contented, and hello donkey, here's looking st you, kid!
ReplyDeleteLol well the cows were being lazy that day. Otherwise there is always something going on. And Jack the donkey is always keeping his eye out for an open gate. Lol. Have a great weekend. Hugs.
DeleteI'm having spring envy! Love the pix of the violets and even the dandelion-type blossom. We will need to wait awhile before they show up here, though. We are expecting another 4" to 8" of snow this week. We just finished running errands and grocery shopping before the snow. I'm feeling a little like the critters in the first picture! Kris
ReplyDeleteP.S. Your donkey looks like he is bound for mischief! Watch out! lol.
Oh my! I am so glad that you have finished your errands and got your grocery shopping in before more snow arrives. It sounds like perfect weather to stay in and enjoy some stitching time . We are expecting some rain today, but nothing like last week. Lol Jack the donkey keeps his eyes peeled on all that goes on; he is one nosy fellow and he has been known to get into a bit of mischief too. Lol. Have a great weekend, Kris Stay safe. Hugs.
DeleteCows always look so sweet! Beautiful wildflowers.
ReplyDeleteAll of the cows on the farm are very gentle even the bull. We have most of them named as well. They can be characters. Thank you for the sweet visit to the farm , Susan. Hugs
DeleteA little critter parade today! Fun! What is the donkey's name? We had one that guarded the sheep. He was a bit of an onery cuss and if I remember right his name was Gus. Your guy looks pretty friendly. Spring flowers are still a bit down the road for us. Thanks for sharing yours!
ReplyDeleteI love taking photos of the cows. We have 2 donkeys. This is Jack who is very friendly though he always looks a bit grumpy. He likes to be fed and of course have his photo taken. Lol I bet Gus was good at guarding the sheep especially if he was ornery. Hee Hee! Each day we are seeing more and more blooms. I hope we do not have a cold snap that will set them back. Have a great weekend, Ginny . Hugs.
DeleteLittle by little the field is filled with flowers announcing spring
ReplyDeleteHugs
Everyday I go out, I see more and more blooms mostly wild flowers or weeds , but they sure are pretty. Thank you for the sweet visit, Isabel and I wish you the most wonderful weekend. Hugs.
DeleteThats so relaxing watching all the animals. We are now moving into autumn and the trees are shedding their leaves. Just love the autumn inbetween weather. Take care and hugs
ReplyDeleteOh thank you so much, Susan for visiting the farm. I do love taking photos of the cows especially the calves. They are characters. Autumn is another beautiful time of the year. I hope the trees put on a lovely display of fall colors before they shed their leaves. Hugs.
DeleteMelisa, the cows and Donkey made me smile. The farm I work at is having baby sheep. We have 9 over 2 weeks old and last night we had a cute little brown and white one. So enjoyable to watch while filling Etsy orders. We also have 2 baby donkeys about 2 months old. Enjoy your weekend. Kim
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, I bet the little ones are so adorable, Kim. I just love sheep. I bet the brown and white lamb is so stinking adorable. We have never had sheep on the farm though I have always longed for some. I hope you have a great week and enjoy watching all of the little ones. Don't you love how fiesty they can be when they are young frolicking in the fields? Lol. Have a great week. Hugs.
