Good morning, Gabi. Oooh Halloween Parade! I hope you enjoy every stitch. I do need to work on Halloween stitching too. Perhaps I will pull out a piece today. Thank you so much for the sweet Monday visit. I wish you a lovely start to your week too. Hugs.
DeleteNow I know my engine was not firing correctly. It was sputtering and ready to do absolutely nothing. LOL I missed that you had tied your sweet quilt in jute and added the faux leaf. I'm such a ditz!!! LOL I love how it looks. Actually I love all your 4 patch quilts. They are all wonderfully adorable! DarleneJ
DeleteYour 4 patch is very nifty and definitely thrifty! teehee I'm headed to bed and hope I'll be able to sleep since I slept most of the week end. Have a tee-rific Monday!!! DarleneJ
ReplyDeleteGood night , sweet Darlene. I wish you a night of sweet dreams and lots of rest. Thank you so much for the sweet compliment on my quilt - now you know I like nifty and thrifty. Hee ! Hee! Big hugs.
DeleteWhat a cute idea to roll it up to fit into your fall display! We went back to 80's and humid, ick! I preferred the 70's and windows open week before that.
ReplyDeleteAah thank you kindly, Vicki. It is always fun to come up with another way to display a quilt. Yikes on the humidity; it makes the heat so unbearable. Our temps went back up to 90 with no rain in sight. I hope that it cools down for the both of us soon. Enjoy your week, Vicki.
DeleteCongrats on your finishing this adorable little Fall number!!:))) It does look great twined up and decorated with that leaf;)) Perfect...hugs, Julierose
ReplyDeleteOh thank you so much, Julierose. I have always had a soft spot for wee 4 patches. I am thrilled to have this one completed and out for the season. Have a wonderful evening. Hugs

DeleteCongratulations of the finish of Autumn's Delight. It's perfect. You have displayed it in the perfect way...love the leaf. Love all your cross stitch and collectibles too. You have a special touch for decorating and creating.
ReplyDeleteAaah I am so touched by your sweetness. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. It really was a fun quilt to work on . I just rolled it up on a whim . Have a blessed day and a great week. Hugs.
DeleteSuch a wash of fall colors in your Autumn Delight. So nice. Displaying it with the twine and leaves enhances it so sweetly. I worked on piecing a backing to my Dinosaur quilt top for the gr'son. Gathered some produce from the garden. Boy, my crookneck squash is acting like zucchini this year. It has been producing in high gear for long enough. Put up 3 more bags of diced tomatoes this morning, too. I am going to follow your lead and start a simple block-a-day for the next little while - a bow-tie.
ReplyDeleteYou have been super busy , Ginny. Aaah a Dinosaur quilt- all little boys love dinosaurs. I know he will just love it! When my grandsons were younger, I bought so many dinosaur books and toys. Your garden is doing great! How lucky are you to be harvesting all of the squash. Are you freezing any or just eating it as it comes in? I made a lot of squash pickles last year. I am glad I did since our garden did not do as well this year. Ooh a bow tie quilt sounds delightful. I hope you enjoy working on this new project. Have a great week, Ginny. Hugs.
DeleteLovely quilt!!
ReplyDeleteHugs
Aaah thank you so much, Isabel. It was a fun fast quilt to work on . Hugs and Blessings.

DeleteWhat a great way to display your recent finish! Your little four patch speaks fall for sure!!!--TerryK@on Going Projects
ReplyDeleteOh thank you so much, Terry. I am always looking for an idea on how to display my little quilts. They are a lot fun to make and display. Have a wonderful evening. Hugs.
DeleteWhat a beautiful quilt - I have never made an actual quilt - I have cut out squares and sewn them together but that is about as far as I have gotten. You do inspire! I have made so many of your adorable cross stitch patterns though - beautiful work you do and it is so appreciated that you share so willingly! I think the squirrel cross stitch that is behind your Mini Squirrel Sampler is so cute - is that a pattern you created? I have not seen it before but I love it. thank you again for all you do - Carrie
ReplyDeleteGood afternoon, Carrie. Oooh it sounds like you are off to a great start on a quilt. You just have to jump in with both feet. I know you would do a fabulous job! Please keep me updated on your quilt in the works. Are you going tom make a mini or a larger one? Oh thank you so much for asking about the squirrel stitch . The big stitch with the squirrel and house is called 1803 Autumn Home. I posted it on Sept. 7, 2021. The other small squirrel stitch on the stool is a With Thy Needle and Thread piece called Oktober Feast. It was a fun one too. I wish you a wonderful weekend. Happy Stitching. Hugs.
DeleteMy weekend was busy as usual. Congrats on your quilty finish. I saw a squirrel that color last night when I was visiting my aunt. Happy Fall!
ReplyDeleteIt is always nice to stay busy isn't it Meari? But I do like my down time too. LOL. Thank you so much for the kind words on my mini quilt. I was thrilled to have a wee finish. I can not wait to work on another mini soon. Have a blessed day. Hugs.
DeleteBeautiful finish, Melisa. I love love love (did I say love enough?) your fall decor.
