Autumn's Delight - A Wee Four Patch

There is something about wee four patches that just grabs my heart!  How about you?

Welcome, Sweet Peas.  A very lovely Monday to you!

Are you ready for the first full week in September?

I think we need to hit the ground running and enjoy every thing this month has to offer . What about you?

I am thinking pumpkin pies, ball games, corn mazes, hay rides.

Hmmm what else can we do? Oh, I must not forget the fall stitching and quilting. ๐Ÿ˜€

A small Fall quilt stack.

Lots of wee four patches have been in the works for a new  fall mini quilt.

The four patches are made of  1 1/2"squares (unfinished).

I decided to pair them with a rust colored fabric.

10-   2 1/2 rust colored squares and 10 wee four patches will make up this simple quilt.

Soon the blocks were pieced and ready for a simple border.

2 1/2" strips to the rescue.

For the side borders , I cut 2 strips 2 1/2" x 10 1/2" .
For the top borders,  I cut 2 strips   2 1/2" x 12 1/2".

Lickety split a wee fall quilt is completed and ready for the hoop.  Hmm what should I name it? ๐Ÿค” Maybe Autumn's Delight. What do you think?

Crumbs, Crumbs and more crumbs were pieced in a "wiley niley" style  . This was my leader/ ender project as I worked on the four patch quilt.

Alrighty , y'all  that what going on in the holler-  a little bit of this and a little bit of that and a whole lot of nothing ! Hee! Hee! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ

But at least a little four patch has been made.
Have a marvelous day and ...

As Always...

Happy quilting and stitching, y'all

Melisa

I picked a couple of tomatoes today and still have a few peppers to harvest. The squirrels are snatching the pears and muscadines and the opossums are harvesting our figs. LOL. Oh well, they have to eat too, I guess. Have a wonderful evening ,dear Ginny. Hugs.

Last week it reached 103 and the school had to call off the sporting events. Thankfully it is supposed to get cooler as the week continues. Happy September, Carol and thank you for the sweet visit.
