Bunny Jar- A Mason Jar Freebie

Buford's Back! Good afternoon , honey  bunnies! Yep , Buford is back . Last week I shared A Basket of Spring which had a small basket with Buford the Bunny and Virginia the Birdie  in it.

Buford hopped his fluffy tail into a mason jar this time.

And notice his fur looks quite dapper in a quilted pattern. He has a bag of carrots flung on his back. In my eyes, he is a cutie patootie! What do you think ?

Buford was stitched on 14 count tea/ coffee dyed aida and I used a chenille trim to finish my pin pillow. I got the chenille from Walmart in the yarn section.

Did you notice my Clothespin Carrots. Click here where I showed how I made those.  It would be an easy peasy craft to do with the kiddos for Easter.

Bunny Jar is a nice addition to my Mason Jar series.

Pictured here are A Basket of Spring, 1869 Bunny HopBunny TrifleSheep Jar and of course Bunny Jar.

If you would like to stitch ole' Buford , please check out the links below.

Many of you know , but I always like to leave this little disclaimer.

I stitch my little designs for fun and to decorate my home. I feel very blessed by this community and love sharing my little charts, but I am not a professional designer. And I do not have professional software. Thank you for understanding that I  have to put each page on separate links because of the devices I use. I apologize for that.  These are images of the chart  or JPG s and not downloads.   I am always grateful for your kind encouragement , your visits, and for stitching my little designs.

Click here for the jpg Instruction page.

OOOPS . I  am so sorry. I made some mistakes when I was printing up the instructions. I do not know where my head was. I have now corrected the instruction page . If you printed the Bunny Jar before on April 11, 2022 before 11:45 pm. These are the mistakes.

1. I mislabeled in the instructions DMC 898 and listed the symbol as "B" . It should be "X"

2.  DMC 930 Antique Blue was not listed . It is actually the color for symbol "B".

3. Please omit DMC 310. I did not use that.

AGAIN I APOLOGIZE FOR THE INCONVENIENCE.  Please let me know if you see anything amiss on any of my charts.  Sometimes I am like a chicken with her head cut off. Thank you , my sweet friends.

  7. He is so cute... and I hate to be a bother, but I think your color key has a mistake... you used X in the bunny & there is no X on your key... but I think it is suppose to be 898... and in the basket you have 1 which is 931... and it has a B... which seems to be blue on the model but is listed as 898 on the key... I'm pulling floss for it ... can't wait to start stitching! Thanks for all you do!!

    1. Oh thank you so much, Carol. I hopped to it and made the corrections. I am so grateful for you letting me know. I must have been writing directions in my sleep. I have posted the update on the mistakes above too. B was 930 and I did not used 310 so I removed it from the instructions. I am so sorry for the mistakes. Enjoy and happy Easter.

  8. I am busy stitching your yellow house for a summer stitch. I am thinking of adding it to the front of a book to display it. It is such a cheery stitch. Thanks again for sharing your creativity with us Melisa.

    1. Happy Tuesday, Arlene. I am so excited to hear that you are stitching Tulip House . Displayed on the front of a book would be such a clever and cute finish. I have never seen one finished that way. How fun. I hope you are enjoying it. Have a wonderful week and a blessed Easter holiday.

  9. The cutest Easter bunny! Now I'm really tempted, feel for doing something else than quilting. Have to go through my floss (which is a total mess). Thank you for the freebie! Which needle size do you prefer for 14 count aida and 28 ct evenweave?
