A Basket of Spring- A Spring Freebie

Good afternoon, ya'll. The flowers are blooming, the bees are buzzing and the birds are chirping.

It's another beautiful Spring Day.

Spring Stamp and Bunny Hop  , the wool applique a freebie from  Shabby Fabrics

I have been planting seeds , pulling weeds and in the evenings - Eeeeh ! It's baseball time! The grandbabies are playing spring ball. Last night the boys had 3 games . Tonight there will be another .

Here and there I have been stitching .

Today, I worked on fully finishing " A Basket of Spring" . It is 2nd in the mini basket series.

This is Buford Bunny ( You may see him again). He is nestled in a basket munching on a carrot underneath some blooms. Virginia the Bluebird sits patiently on one of the stems.   I bet she is waiting for a snack for herself.

Well any whoo.  I finished it as a round with a  jute hoop so it can be hung as an ornament. My plan is to display it on this basket though.

I bought the basket at the Goodwill for a dollar. The great thing about the basket is I can store the pieces in it.

If you are interested in stitching, Buford and Virginia , hop on down to the links below.

Many of you know , but I always like to leave this little disclaimer.

I stitch my little designs for fun and to decorate my home. I feel very blessed by this community and love sharing my little charts, but I am not a professional designer. And I do not have professional software. Thank you for understanding that I  have to put each page on separate links because of the devices I use. I apologize for that.  These are images of the chart  or JPG s and not downloads.   I am always grateful for your kind encouragement , your visits, and for stitching my little designs.

Thank you , my friends for visiting today. I am off to see what the evening allows before the ballgame. Hope you are enjoying the bees, blooms and warmer weather. As always...

Happy stitching, ya'll

  3. Sweet sweety bunny, from a sweet, sweet friend, thank you so much. Happy Spring to you, we are having a little rain today, so I should see some shoots poking from the ground soon. Sending you much love and many hugs from Arizona. Enjoy those grandbabies playing ball, what a wonderful way to finish a day!

    1. I certainly hope you had a very lovely day, dear Mary. How nice to have the rain give your seedlings a drink. I have been checking my greenhouse each day watching for shoots; it is such a joy to see them. Still too cool to plant anything in the ground yet. It is going to be in the 80's tomorrow and rain tomorrow night. Aaah this spring weather. Lol. Thank you so much for the sweet visit, dear Mary. You always make my day. Big hugs

  4. Love seeing how you finish and display your stitches. I just finished The Rabbit and The Rose by Brenda Gervais. What is it about bunnies that is so appealing? Happy Stitching ( and Designing!)/
