May I start your Monday off with a wee patriotic sampler?
The gorgeous fabric star behind the sampler was a darling gift from my dear friend, Patricia. I love it. ❤ |
It is a quick little stitch. Just grab your red , white and blues and stitch away. š
I stitched mine on Saturday while sitting on the porch. By evening time , my wee sampler was completed.
This is s a" Choose Your Own Colors " chart, but if you are interested- I used DMC 815, Blanc, 930, 898, and 413 ( for the letters).

Strawberry Ice Cream Stamp is FFOd. Coming soon will be a header similar to the Spring and Autumn Stamps just in case you want to stitch them all as one piece.
Five more Whatch Ma' Call It Blocks are completed.
They measure 15 1/2" unfinished. I shared the tutorial on this block in my April 29, 2024 post.
Anywhoo, I will be pairing these blocks with The Flaming Butterfly blocks that I appliqued earlier this year.
Summer Checklist is on the finishing table. I embroidered this prim stitch using 2 strands of DMC 898 floss. I will be adding a border and then it will be the hoop by the end of the day.
A sneak peek at a new sampler I have started- right now I am calling it the No Name Sampler ; I haven't thought of a name yet. šš
The beginnings of a new sampler. |
Are you tired of seeing Alabama Beauty? šš I am moving as slow as molasses on it . It is my 15 minute a day stitch though I often stitch longer on it.
Isn't the blue star fabric pretty?
That's what is going on in the holler- a little bit of this and that and a whole lot of nothing. šš If all goes well, perhaps I can post a house freebie this week. Have a good one, Sweeties and...
As Always...
A dough bowl of minis. ❤❤❤ |
