Hugs and Stitches!!!
Dedicated to my baby sister, Amy who always went over the top with her Halloween costumes. Love and miss you, Amo
I'm clapping hard and loud for your Spooky Parade. I've stitched quite a few but there are some I still need to stitch but not this year. LOL
ReplyDeleteI posted a 30's little quilt and my Autumn quilt on my IG feed. Tonight, I finished another little quilt that I plan to post tomorrow. I have nothing but time on my hands and yet I can't get everything done. Big Happy Stitchy Hugs for you, Darlene J
Oh my goodness, Miz Darlene now those are some adorable quilts. I had to hop over to see them and my heart went thumpity thump! I love the idea of using a dark center in the Autumn quilt. Cute! Cute! Cute! Oh I know what you mean about time. Hmmm maybe we both need assistants. LOL. Hope you had a great weekend. Hugs.
DeleteThank you for another parade! I've got a few of yours done but I'm running out of room on where to put them! :-) Blessings!
ReplyDeleteAaaw I am so touched that you have stitched some of my seasonal pieces. Oh yes, I understand. Space is a premium in RVs isn't it? Lol. I am still trying to figure out where to put my stitching supplies when we travel and I would love to have a piece or two displayed . Maybe I will figure it out soon. Thank you for the sweet visit, Donna. Hugs.

Aaaw you are so very kind, Lux. Thank you from the bottom of my heart . I hope you have had a very lovely weekend. Hugs.
DeleteWhat a great spooky parade! I have 3 black cats, so that Little Black Cat Stamp inside the black cat's mouth is my favorite. Have a great weekend Melisa!
ReplyDeleteI didn't realize you had 3 black cats, Linda. Do you have some others as well? I know you love kitties as much as I do. As a child, my sister and I had a black cat named Midnight. It was such a sweetie. Thank you for the sweet visit. Hugs.
DeleteOMG, Melisa--how cute and funny are these??? "Shake Your Boo-ty " is a riot!! Such adorable items...your parade puts my few items to shame--no parade here just a few trick-or-treaters'
ReplyDeleteitems--"Jack is Back" will be coming out today...Happy October to you hugs, Julierose
Ooh I hope you post a photo of your Jack. I remember it from last year. Jacks and cats are my favorite to have on display come Halloween time. Thank you so much for the sweet visit, Julierose. Hugs.
DeleteVery, very cute, all of them. My favorites as usual are all the houses.
ReplyDeleteAaw thank you so much, Kate. I have to admit that the house stitches are some of my favorites too. I have been working on a new one. I hope you had a great day . Hugs and Blessings.
DeleteI love your parade posts, Melisa! I always see something that I have somehow missed.
ReplyDeleteAaw thank you so much, Robin. It is fun for me to pull the parades together because sometimes I forget what I need to pull out for the season. LOL. Do you do that? Have a great week. Hugs.
DeleteWowza beautiful Melisa!!! what a parade that was. you made Halloween magical!!!
ReplyDeletei love all of the patterns. my printer was busily printing away. i just love them all. you are so creative Melisa. thank you, thank you, thank you.
i hope you had an awesome Friday. now onto Saturday. where does the time go? it seems as though i get up in the morning, have a cup of hot tea, get my day started, then it's time to sit down and watch a little tv, and off to bed i go. i don't get it. when my children were young time was on my side and i was able to tackle lots and lots of things. now that i'm older there doesn't seem to be enough time in the day. what's up? geez!!! haha could it be that this body is slowing down? i don't understand how that is possible when i have the mindset of a 30 year old. at least that's what the mind is telling me - but the body knows better, right!!!
today will be a quiet day. i have plants to water and a quilt to get sewing. i need the quilt for a Christmas swap (it's all a mystery). i have it all cut it's just a matter of sitting down and sewing it together. then i need to get it to the quilter. once back from the quilter i will send it to my favorite binding friend and wah-la it will be ready. sooooo the ball is in my court and needs to get a move on.
are you busily working on your butterfly blocks? i can't wait to see the quilt. it is going to be so lovely.
take care Melisa and stay safe. i hope all of the roadwork that was being done is finished and you can get in and out easily moving your "big ole red" to thrift stores for your wonderful thrifting adventure. hehehe
have a wonderful, blessed day Melisa and family. you're the best!!! thanks so much for the beautiful Halloween parade. i loved it.
blessings and love are on the way to you. a great big squeezy bear hug, too.
Debra Broyles
Good evening, dear Debra. LOL I know what you mean about spinning your wheels. Iwas just thinking today about how much I used to be able to get done and now it seems like it takes me forever. I am not sure why that is when I feel like I am at full speed. Ooh a Christmas quilt in the works! That sounds delightful. Christmas will be here in no time, but it sounds like you have a plan and are ready to get down to business. I hope you were able to work on it this weekend. I know it will be gorgeous. I didn't get to work on my butterfly blocks like I had planned. The grandsons stayed overnight and have kept us busy all weekend which was loads of fun. Oh well, maybe this week. Our road is paved - Eeeh and Whew! LOL We finally were able to get mail this weekend ( even the mail lady was not allowed down our road LOL) . But I am ever so grateful for a new road that is for sure. I wish you that most wonderful productive week. Sending you big hugs from the holler.
DeleteHi there, oh what a stroll. I enjoyed it and have some favorites, They are all very, very cute.
ReplyDeleteYou will not believe , won't you, but my daughter decides to have a Halloween Party this year.
Invitationcards are already out, will you come?? I am sure my friends will think we are crazy, but we have already 5 boxes with deco around, collected over the years. We are really already excited. I will let you know.
Spooky greetings.
Gabi
Oh how exciting, Gabi! I do hope you will keep me posted on how you decorate and party plans. I have always wanted to have a Halloween party. Will you be making special treats? Fun will be had by all. My daughter took the grandsons and nephews to the "haunted school" over the weekend . They had a ball. I wish you a wonderful spooktacular week. Hugs.
DeleteOh, what lovely work, Melisa!
ReplyDeleteAs you know, I don't decorate for Halloween because it's not a tradition in Spain, or at least it wasn't until a few years ago when it became fashionable. But that doesn't mean I don't enjoy seeing how fellow Americans do it and show it on their blogs.
Have a great weekend!
Hugs
I remember you telling me last year that Halloween was not celebrated in Spain. I think that is so interesting. It is big here in America - 2nd to Christmas. I am not into the creepy, but just the" fun and cute". Thank you for the sweet visit, Isabel. You always are so kind. Hugs.
DeleteLove these seasonal holiday parades. Your Halloween stitches are just so fun! Thank you for the new little wagon doodle. Hmmm...this gives me an idea for my H banner for my daughter.
ReplyDeleteAah thank you so much, Ginny. I enjoy looking back on my previous stitches and designs. It sure has been a blessing and joy to share them. Ooh I am glad you found some inspiration for your dear daughter's banner. Will this be for her Christmas gift? Have a great week. Hugs.
DeleteSuch a fun parade. I already have the Clementine cat and pumpkin printed off. A little flu bug delayed the start but I'm all in for starting it today while resting in my recliner. Now to find some black dmc floss..... Thank you for such cute projects.
ReplyDeleteAaaw Deb, I sure hope you are feeling better and I hope those little stitches bring you comfort during your down time. I am so very grateful that you are adding them to your Fall/ Halloween stitching. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Sending you warm hugs and well wishes.
