Halloween Parade - A Halloween Freebie

Rise and shine!!! Good morning , sweetie pies. It's another beautiful October Thursday. Let's hit the day rolling. How about it?

Well what a difference a week and a half makes since I have been gone. The leaves on the trees are certainly sporting some pretty shades of color and the ground- well it is blanketed with brown crunchy leaves.

The view from my front porch.

I have been enjoying the cool crisp mornings and nights  though this weekend we will be back in the high 70's.

I went to the grocery store yesterday  and bananas were on clearance. So I snatched up a few bunches and on the way home stopped in at mom's to pick a few pears. Soon I had the dehydrator  a humming. Dried banana chips and pears will be great afternoon snacks.

Ok  I will confess !  I just did not stop at the grocery store. The Goodwill was calling my name and look what jumped in my buggy - 2 brown drip bowls.

One is a Hull and the other McCoy.  I think I have a "Bowl Obsession" , but in my defense they were cheap, and I thought they would  be great serving pieces for Thanksgiving. What do you think?

Later in the evening , I fully finished "Halloween Parade."

I have been working on this one for a few years- sorta on the fence on whether I like it or not. Originally , I had named it "Witchy Woman", but my sweet friend, Christina said it looked like a Halloween Parade and I thought how perfect! Thank you Christina. 🤗😘 I finished it on a large "fake wooden" pumpkin that I purchased at the Dollar General this year .

This pumpkin was $7.00 and is about 3/4" thick and measures about 10 1/2"tall x 9" wide-  a nice size.

I stitched my piece on an extra crispy piece of 14 count aida that I tea/coffee dyed . I know that I had put the fabric in the oven to dry since it is extra crispy.

If you would like to stitch, Halloween Parade,  please check out the images below, but first read my little note about my charts . This explains about getting the charts.

NOTE: Normally I have been able to create links to the charts and instructions which were in JPG form. For some reason, recent updates on Google Docs. has prevented me from doing that and I am not able to create a pdf without having to deal with storage issues.  Until I can figure out how to upload with the links , I am only able to put the images on the blog . Many dear stitchers say they right click, save the image and then print.  I think some have copied and pasted it to a Word document that they can print off as well. I hope you are able to find a way to enjoy this chart. You will have to click each page to save .  I am doing my best to get back to my normal method of sharing . Thank you so much for your patience and understanding and for all of the helpful tips and ideas.

Many of you know , but I always like to leave this little disclaimer.

I stitch my little designs for fun and to decorate my home. I feel very blessed by this community and love sharing my little charts, but I am not a professional designer. And I do not have professional software. Thank you for understanding . I am always grateful for your kind encouragement , your visits, and for stitching my little designs.

The Gremlins, Goblins and Ghouls Blog Hop continues on today. So if you have the chance, pop in and visit the lovely ladies to see all of their ghoulish projects. Well I say that affectionately because I know they are fabulous  and not frightful. I will be posting my project tonight at 11:00 CST.

Well I am off to piddle . Remember we were going to hit the floor running so I better get on the stick. Have a super day, sweeties and As always...

Happy  Stitching and Quilting, ya'll
