Frosty Finish

A fine Thursday to you my friends. It is actually a Thunder Thursday for me for it is raining cats and dogs.

The other day , I realized that I had failed to show you my finished Frosty McChill quilt.

If you are not familiar with Frosty, I hosted a Frosty McChill Sew Along last year over the course of several weeks.

If you are interested in the embroidery patterns just check out the links below  and you will be transported back to the posts.

They include: Let it Snow"  , " Sled Time , The Tree March  , "Just a Sweeping!!!" , Chasing Snowflakes" , " Learning to Ski " , Mittens for Sale ,   Blown Away ,   Snowball Hunt , The March  ,   Playtime, , Winter Time ,  The Finishing Instructions

The other day, I took the quilt out to the farm to take a few photos.

This quilt has a lot of memories of 2022 stitched into it. Thank you to all of you who followed me, stitched along, and who gave me words of encouragement.

Did you know that today is my embroidery day? - Embroidery Thursday!!! Woo! Hoo!
It is a no stress stitch day for sure!

So I have a new little snowman drawn out ready to stitch.

If you are interested in stitching  Prim Winter Snowman doodle   ,grab the images below. Many of ya'll know but I always encourage you to read my little disclaimer and note about getting my charts.

NOTE: Normally I have been able to create links to the charts and instructions which were in JPG form. For some reason, recent updates on Google Docs. has prevented me from doing that and I am not able to create a pdf without having to deal with storage issues.  Many dear stiitchers say they right click, save the image and then print.  I think some have copied and pasted it to a Word document that they can print off as well. I hope you are able to find a way to enjoy this chart. You will have to click each page to save. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding and for all of the helpful tips and ideas.

I am tickled pink that you dropped by for a visit. Tomorrow is Farmhouse Friday where I will be sharing  my latest farmhouse stitch and begin working on a new one so if you have the time come back over for a visit. Have a terrific day , my dears and ...

As Always...

Happy quilting and stitching, ya'll

Melisa

  1. Really beautiful backdrop for your quilt -- especially that brilliant blue sky -- makes the red of the quilt really pop. Lovely finish. Happy Thursday!
