Dancing in the Rain

🎵🎵 Raindrops keep falling on my head!!!🎵🎵

Happy Slow Stitching Sunday, sweetie pies. It is a beautiful rainy day in the neighborhood. A perfect time to "Dance in the Rain" .

Are you  enjoying some slow stitching today?  My needle and thread has been dancing along my  Rainbow Sherbet Quilt this week.

I got 5 blocks completed. 15 - 20 minutes a day really is moving me along on this quilt.

I will be finishing up the quilting on Kathleen Tracy's Valentine Mini Mystery Quilt.

I began a new embroidery project . This will be another quilt in honor of my sister, Amy.  Dance in the Rain is the 1st block .

Today I will continue working on the 2nd block called "Enjoy the Simple Things" .

Later I will be attending a family birthday party today.  Good food , lots of fun , and of course I will have a big slice of cake.

Have a beautiful day , my sweetie pies. Hope you are dancing the day away and of course getting in some quilting and stitching in yourself. OH , Before you leave , does anybody know if it is possible to get acrylic craft paint out of 100% cotton fabric?

 As always...

Happy quilting and stitching, ya'll

Melisa

Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass; it's about learning to dance in the rain!!

Hugs and Stitches!!!

Dedicated to my sweet sister, Amy . Love you.

I am joining these lovely ladies' link parties. I hope you check them out; they always have so many wonderful projects going on and provide the opportunity for other needle workers to meet.

  6. As for the craft paint, I think it is possible if it doesn’t sit too long. I would first try soap and water then soaking in oxiclean. Good luck!

  15. I love your Dancing in the Rain embroidered block. Is it your own design? As for getting the paint our of fabric, if it's not that big a splotch and doesn't come out in the wash, could you perhaps applique a butterfly, flower or a bird to hide it?
