Meandering Through a Patchwork Garden

The sun is shining and the birds are singing, but Brrr is it cold. Welcome , sweetie pies.
This week I have been meandering my way through a patchwork garden of lovely vintage stars.

I quilted 8 stars on my 15- 20 minute journey each day. As I quilted , my thoughts wandered, and I pondered who might have been the piecer of this beauty.

From the bright happy colors , you know she had to be full of cheer and with the variety of fabrics - a collector after my own heart. 💙💚💛🤗 Today my needle will continue its' stroll.

I also hope to finish the Blackbird Designs stitch called Merry Hearts.

A little quilt stack in my rocker gifted by my dear sis.

This sure was a short post . Wasn't it? I'm off to explore my patchwork garden. I hope you have a very lovely and blessed Slow Stitching Sunday . As always...

Happy quilting and stitching,

Melisa

  10. It made me smile to think of a needle strolling!
What a fabulous quilt... so much to see! I think I would be fast friends with the maker who I think was a cheerful scrap collector who loved to be creative and didn't care a bit about perfection!
