Off to a Good Start!

Good morning , sweetie pies.   Did you have a very Happy New Year's Day?

Eeeh!  We had our traditional New Year's Day meal - black eyed peas, turnip greens and  hog jowl!! It's hubby's favorite meal of the year.

Did you ring in the new year?  Being a night owl. I certainly did. I worked on Notforgotten Farms' Snow Pants .

This was gifted  to me by my sweet friend, Patricia.  I finished him and and stitched him into a simple pillow. Isn't he a quirky little guy?  I love him!❤⛄❤

I'm off to a great start.

Today, I plan to  begin Bent Creek's The Red Thread "Snowman".

This was a sweet gift from my friend. PJ.  He certainly looks like a happy snowman.

As for quilting-  I am putting "Winter" in the hoop.

Yesterday , I dipped into the scrap bin for  some homespuns and shirtings.

I am preparing for a quilt to join in the Tablescraps Challenge with Joy at The Joyful Quilter.  January's theme is SNOWMEN.

What are you going to be up to? Stitching , quilting or something totally different?  Well I hope it is something fun.

As always...

Happy quilting and stitching, ya'll

  2. Happy New Year, Melisa! Your Quirky Snowman is adorable. Well done on your finish! I started Gathering Snowflakes by Luminous Fiber Arts as my January 1st start. We stayed up, toasted in the New Year and went to bed. Russ can have my portion of your meal; not a fan!

  3. 2 birds! Love your Winter quilt. Today it is putting the fence up around the garden and planting for winter I think. I also need to pick up and clean my home office! And sew of course - by machine and hand.

  6. Your New Year sounds like it's off to a great start, Melisa! Love that little snowman with his high-heeled boots :) I've not stitched in over two weeks as my grandson and his mom and dad were visiting. Oh, how I miss my stitching time! Tonight I'll finally be able to relax in my stitching chair after I finish catching up on the laundry and cleaning--hooray! ♥

  8. Thanks for the shout out, Melisa! Just a reminder, the SNOWMEN prompt is only a suggestion. It's not a requirement for participation in the January 2022 TABLE SCRAPS Challenge. SEW glad that you are playing along, though!!

  9. I spotted 6, maybe 7 a few in the leaves in the background. I had a quite (except for the neighbor's fireworks exhibition) mu car alarm only went off 7 times, LOL. All was good, my neighbor brought over delicious beef tacos and a lovely glass of wine. Trying to plan out what I want to accomplish stitch wise and quilt wise this year. We will see if I make my goals of 2022. Your snowmen are adding up, they are a very handsome bunch. Hugs from Arizona

  11. I’m sharing my experience to help anyone who may find themselves in the same difficult situation I was in just a few months ago. I work in the banking sector and, like many others, I was drawn to the world of cryptocurrency with the hope of building a stronger financial future. I took time to do what I believed was proper research. The platform I invested in looked very professional, the team seemed responsive, and everything about it felt legitimate. Unfortunately, I was wrong.
What I did not realize at the time was that I had walked straight into a phishing scam. In a matter of seconds, all of my Bitcoin and USDT holdings were gone. I was in complete shock. Years of savings vanished almost instantly, and I felt absolutely helpless.
The turning point came one weekend when I was playing tennis with some friends. I shared my experience casually, just trying to vent. One of the members of our club told me about Morphohack Cyber Service. He mentioned that his company had worked with them in the past to recover sensitive business data and that their team was trustworthy.
I contacted Morphohack immediately, and from the first conversation, I felt a sense of hope. They took the time to understand my situation, asked for details, and began investigating right away. Within days, they traced the stolen funds and eventually recovered my crypto assets.
I cannot overstate how thankful I am to Morphohack. They were professional, respectful, and most importantly, effective. They turned a nightmare into a story of relief and recovery.
If you have been scammed or lost your crypto, do not give up. There is real help out there. Morphohack gave me back more than just money, they gave me peace of mind. Their contact information: ( Morphohack@cyberservices . com )

  12. I felt confused and despondent when the unimaginable occurred and a valuable Bitcoin wallet was gone. However, the web's most popular ethical hackers and PI made this amazing recovery feasible with the help of "WIZARD JAMES RECOVERY." As soon as I reported a group of losers who nearly caused me to lose my investment in digital assets, this extremely talented group of cyber punks sprang into action. use these scammers' flaws and their extensive technological expertise and state-of-the-art equipment to track down cryptocurrency that has already been distributed. Through meticulous analysis and tenacious private investigative prowess, they were able to pinpoint the exact location of the missing Bitcoin, which had become entangled in the complex web of online transactions. WIZARD JAMES RECOVERY carefully extracted the valuable cryptocurrency, navigating the labyrinth of code and cryptography that stood in their way. It was a triumph of human ingenuity over technological complexity, a remarkable feat that left the grateful owner in awe. In the end, the lost Bitcoin was restored, the crisis averted, and faith in the power of digital asset recovery was renewed. As a true hero in the high-stakes realm of digital finance, WIZARD JAMES RECOVERY has once again proven its unmatched capacity to resolve even the most difficult cryptocurrency puzzles. I had nothing to do after losing my cryptocurrency, which was worth $450,000 USDT, and it wasn't a pleasant experience until I heard about WIZARD JAMES RECOVERY. I am thankful that I gave them a chance. To retrieve your missing bitcoin, contact WIZARD JAMES RECOVERY at wizardjamesrecovery@usa.com.
