  1. 🌻 Good morning dear Melisa 🌻

Your sunflower projects are absolutely beautiful! 😍 Thank you for sharing them, I thought I had seen them all, but there are a few new (to me) ones in your parade.
Sunflowers are such cheerful flowers, always adding sunshine to dreary days ☀️ My list of things to stitch is getting longer every time I come to your blog 😅
How do you come up with all your stitch patterns? Do you draw them on paper first?

I planted a ton of different kinds of sunflowers for my sister last year and the birds and squirrels dropped a bunch of seeds so this year my raised beds are full of sunflowers again and now they’re slowly starting to bloom and bringing me so much joy every day when I walk through my garden 🥰

Have a blessed day Melisa! Thank you for all you do! 🤗

    1. Hello again Melisa,

I noticed that the link to the mini sunflower sampler is broken in a few of your parade posts...but I found the actual post with the pattern: https://pinkernpunkinquilting.blogspot.com/2023/07/bees-butterflies-and-mini-sunflower.html In case others are trying to get to it too. 😊

    2. Thank you, Alex in Maine. It was the only one I didn't have and I love Melisa's Mini Samplers. I, also love sunflowers and here in Arizona they attract Rosy Checked Lovebirds. They resemble small parrots, very colorful and sweetly noisy!

    3. @ Mary oh wow I didn't know there were wild love birds in the US, I only know them as pets 😄 So cute! I just watched a bumblebee enjoying one of my sunflowers 🌻 🥰 Enjoy your day and happy stitching!

  7. Happy, happy Thursday, dear lady!!! What a wonderful and fun parade! There is no doubt in my mind that one or more of those cuties will end up in my hoop. I was in bed fairly early last night and then wide-awake way too early. ACK!! Have a wonderful day! Big Hugs, DarleneJ

  9. I'm so excited that it's sunflower season! You know they are my favorite flowers, and I love stitching them, too. I'm just getting ready to finish my August heart to display next month. Maybe I need to start a new project just to celebrate! Thanks for sharing all your sweet designs, Melisa!

  10. good morning lovely Melisa.
it's going to be a sunflower sunshiny day. i love sunflowers. they are always so happy and bright. so colorful.
well you are definitely keeping me busy. i had to print a few stitcheries today. when will i ever find the time? i think i am basically just a collector of patterns because i really haven't started anything. a friend of mine does so many of your houses and they are always more beautiful stitched then what the pattern actually looks like. keep them coming Melisa i have purchased plenty of file folders. ;o)
i hope your day is a gorgeous one. any relief from the heat yet? we are still in the high 80's and i don't like it. i don't know how i'll ever survive in the 100+ heat that is coming our way in the august-october timeframe. not looking forward to it.
have a safe and productive day. be sure to get the zucchini that are hiding under the leaves and growing to over 12" long. i used to have zucchini plants and couldn't wait to get the "giants" because then it was meatloaf makin' time.
blessings and love are coming your way beautiful Melisa.
    hugs.

  11. What a wonderful, cheery parade today :) It's funny, but I was just pulling my sunflower/bee/crow pieces out to use in my August display this morning! Hard to believe we only have a week left in July... ♥

  12. What a lovely sunny parade, Melisa! We're just trying to stay cool. Our kiddos go to the sunflower field each year and bring home buckets of them. So pretty! Have a great day. Hugs.

  13. Do you have all your stamp patterns and house patterns in one place? I would love to use these as the centers of a log cabin quilt. They are beautiful and being a smile to my face!

  15. Thank you for this beautiful, sunny parade. So many really lovely stitches. Here's a piece of trivia for you - during the sunflower's early blooming time their faces follow the sun east to west through the day. They truly are a "Sun" flower. I hope you and Mr. P are enjoying an evening with some ice cold sweet tea
