Mystery Autumn Stamp SAL - Stamp 2 - Crows and Sunflowers Freebie

It is the 2nd day of the Autumn Stamp SAL.  How fun it has been to see so many working on the borders and the first stamp. Now on to stamp #2.

Today's stitch has two of my favorite motifs  - Crows and Sunflowers.  Five teeny crows in the sunflower garden.

Here it is  on the large piece with A Basket of Apples , the first stamp .

I stitched it into  a little pin pillow too. It looks darling with my The Ole' Crow Saltbox too.

        ADVICE FROM A SUNFLOWER

Be bright , sunny and positive.

Spread seeds of happiness

Rise , shine and hold your head high.

Every year I decorate  my foyer in crows and sunflowers. This is my little Autumn tree in 2020.

Sometimes I have a number of needles threaded with different floss colors so that I can pick them up quickly and stitch. It certainly  makes the piece go quickly . So I thought I would tell you the floss colors that you will need for tomorrow's stitch in the PREP YOUR NEEDLES.

PREP YOUR NEEDLES FOR TOMORROW'S   STAMP 3 FLOSS COLORS

898, 815, 919, 3345, 469, 780, and 782

Would you like a hint on tomorrow's stitch ?  Work , work , work! That's all I am saying. Lol.  Thank you so much for stopping by , my friends and as always...

Happy  Stitching and Quilting, ya'll

Melisa

Thank you for the sweet visit.

Autumn carries more gold  in its pocket than all other seasons.

Hugs and Stitches!!!!🤗🧵❤

Dedicated to my dear sister, Amy who was like a sunflower, tall, bright and always brought a smile. Love and miss you.

  11. Hello I was wondering if you only tea/coffee dye before stitching or after you have stitched your design too. I dyed my aida first but was wondering if it would be too dingy if I gave it a little distressing.
