Shall we start this Sunday off with a little Sunday Quilt Stack?
A stack of quilts always brightens my day. How about you?
Welcome, Sweet Friends. It is a lovely Sunday morning. I hope your are starting your day bright eyed and bushy tailed. I sure am.
My needle and thread will be meandering about on a embroidered quilt block today. This has been my 15 minute a day project this week.
I began working on the Little Girls blocks over a year ago in memory of my sister. Today's block is called "Radiate Love"
Here are some of the blocks that I have already stitched.
Just in time for Halloween, I finished Lizzie Kate's Haunted House Halloween Rules Flip It Series . Thank you dear Joan for the sweet gift. I loved every stitch . ❤🤗🏚
I changed the colors in Haunted House. If you are interested here are the colors that I used.

Oh, let me show you my new Christmas ornie which I decided to frame instead.
It is called The Holiday Tree, and I whipped it up in just a couple of hours. - Just a little tree tucked in an urn with pine boughs.

ReplyDeleteAaw you are right they do favor sweet Sunbonnet Sue. I created the "Dancing in the Rain" block 1st and then decided to not show the little girls faces. DeleteThose little girls embroidered blocks are extra special. What a sweet way to remember you sister. I spent part of my Sunday machine quilting and part of the day adding a couple blocks to my temperature quilt. I even made a pot of stew which bubbled away in the crockpot. It tasted delicious and the house smelled great all day!--TerryK@OnGoingProjects
