Winter Stamp SAL - Stamp 7 Winter Forest

Is it Wednesday already? By golly, it is . Well, we are half way there.

Good morning, sweet friends. How is the day treating you thus far?  Now tell me is it cold out there? Brrrr.   Actually we have been having some nice weather. Chilly in the mornings, but nice during the day.

Anywhoo today, I am sharing Stamp 7 in the Winter SAL.

Stamp 7 is called "Winter's Forest"  ❄❄❄☃

It is no secret that I have an affection for trees. I guess that is why I live tucked among them deep in the holler. When winter time comes and the snow falls, blankets of "fluffy white stuff" envelope the trees. I always enjoy the quiet and crispness of the winter snow filled days. But alas we see very few of those. And by golly , I am not going to see any if I keep coming to the desert during the winter. Am I?Hee! Hee!

  2. The new stamp "winter forest" is adorable. Brought back memories of watching kids walk aka trudge to school in the snow. LOL Lots of people come to the desert in the winter to avoid the snow and extremely cold temps. License plates from so many northern states and Canada. One year I was lamenting about our chilly weather and a woman (can't call her a lady) rolled her eyes, pursed her lips and said we were all wooses. We looked at each other, rolled our eyes, didn't purse our lips because it's not a good look LOL I said come on back in July, August and September and we'll see who the woose really is. You get in your car and can't touch the steering wheel because it's hotter than blue blazes. Turn the AC to high hoping that this time it'll immediately be cold air - nope fooled again. LOL Anyway she turned on her heel and stomped off. ROFLOL My co-workers and I had a hardy laugh for quite a few days. Enjoy your Wednesday. Darlene J

  18. Sheesh! I didn't hit enter and all of a sudden it was done for me. Evergreen trees and snow are made for each other. It appears that the South is getting more snow than we are this year. I wondered if you have someone watching your place while you are gone? With the recent temps I was thinking of frozen pipes and such.
