ReplyDeleteAaah thank you so much, Darlene. You are the sweetest. I think the Churn Dash block is one of my favorite blocks to work on. This was a real quick and fun quilt to make from the Little Quilts book. Have a wonderful week. Hugs.
DeleteEnjoy your blackberry cobbler ;)) Pretty sewing projects, your butterflies are coming along nicely, and I love the Churn Dash quilt. Cute blue fabric with tiny apples!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your happy place, and linking up ;)
Oh thank you so much. I am enjoying working on my butterfly quilt. I look forward to getting it complete here soon. Have a wonderful week, dear and thank you for the sweet visit. Hugs.
DeleteYou manage to squeeze so much into a day. Still swooning over your butterfly quilt. :)
ReplyDeleteAah thank you so much, dear Susie. I seem to flutter from project to project throughout the day. I have already started dreaming of the next butterfly quilt. I have enjoyed this one so much. Have a great week. Hugs.
DeleteYour quilt and blocks are looking good, Melisa! Since I'm not a berry fan, please eat my share!
ReplyDeleteOh thank you so much, Robin. I have been working on quilting the Churn Dash today. I hope by the end of the week most of it will be quilted. Lol I don't mind having a 2nd helping of cobbler. Hee! Hee! Have a fabulous week. Hugs.
DeleteYou accomplish so much in a week, I'm wondering do you sleep?? Any kind of cobbler is delicious and Mr. Pinker's made my mouth water! Your sunflowers are cute!--TerryK@OnGoingProjects
ReplyDeleteAah thank you so much, Terry. I do not feel like I get a lot done, but every little stitch moves me closer to a finish at least. Lol. Mr. Pinker did a great job on making the cobbler. It was almost like mom's. Lol. Have an awesome week and thank you for the sweet visit. Hugs.
DeleteBlackberry cobbler sounds yummy, Melisa! Fun to see what you're working on, too. That sunflower cross-stitch looks fun!
ReplyDeleteThe cobbler was so yummy, Diann. Hubby went out and picked the berries that very day. If I picked them, they would have never made it to the kitchen before I would have gobbled them up. Lol. Hope you are having a great day. Hugs.
DeleteBlackberry Cobbler, oh who am I kidding, any Cobbler is a complete joy!!! Love all of your plans, you are very organized! I just kind of pick up something that is in the basket and stitch, lol. Have a wonderful productive week, sending hugs from sunny Arizona.
ReplyDeleteLol I wish I could send you a big bowl of cobbler, dear Mary. It was delicious especially since it was fresh berries. I try to hit a couple of things on my list through the week, but sometimes I do stray. I love it that you just pick up whatever that you feel like working on. Have a wonderful week. Hugs and blessings.
DeleteHave a very productive week... you don't lack plans!!!
ReplyDeleteA hug
Oh thank you so much, Isabel. I hope your week is just as productive and is filled with joy and blessings. Hugs.
DeleteI would love some cobbler, but can't eat blackberries, either. Love Marion berries from Oregon, and red blackberries, and everything else in that family. Miss them! Have an extra piece for me! Good plans. Waiting for Friday stitchery!
ReplyDeleteI hope you have some other treat to replace the yummies that you used to enjoy, Susan. Hope you are having a wonderful week . I look forward to reading what you have in the works for the week. Hugs.
DeleteOoh, I can taste that cobbler! Yum! Loving the sunflower stitch. Can't wait to see where that is headed. You made progress on all of your projects. Good for you!
ReplyDeleteIt was a yummy cobbler, Ginny- almost like my mom's. Lol. I plan to add a little house just above my sunflower patch. Hopefully I will have it completed very soon. Have a wonderful week. Hugs.
DeleteBBerry cobler sounds wonderful. Send me some energy. Love your posts.
ReplyDeleteLol thank you so much , dear for the sweet compliment and giggle and I still want more energy. Hee ! Hee! . Aaah you just made my day. Thank you so much, Sweetness. Have a great week. Hugs.
DeleteMelisa,
ReplyDeleteThe butterfly squares are just darling!! Thanks so much for stopping by and for your sweet comment!! My Kitchen is my favorite part of the house I think!! Sounds like you plan a productive week...I have been packing away all the Patriotic decor and redecorating the LR in my Coastal theme for the rest fo the Summer..I am adding another area to the decorations and have been doing a bit of crafting too!! I have been having fun and enjoying the process!!
Stay Cool!
Hugs,
Deb
I can not wait to see your living room decorated in the coastal theme, Deb. I have been changing mine out to bees and slowly I will add sunflowers. Thank you so much for dropping by for a sweet visit. Hugs.
DeleteOur family's favorite blackberry recipe is Martha Stewart's Lemon-Berry Pudding Cakes. To die for! (comes up easily on a google search). Our blackberries haven't done well in a couple years but hubs hasn't had time to really take care of them. (plus, we're slowly doing a garden reset, building new raised beds etc so I think we might just start over with new plants.)
ReplyDeleteOh I am going to have to look up that recipe, Cheree. You had me at lemon. Lol. How wonderful to be creating raised beds for your garden. They will make gardening a lot easier in the future. Thank you for the sweet visit . I hope you are enjoying your summer .
DeleteYummy. Can't go wrong with a cobbler of any kind. You always manage to accomplish a lot. I make lists but usually they involve cleaning and that rarely gets done. :)
ReplyDeleteGood morning, Tammy. Hubby did a great job on the cobbler; it was gobbled up in no time. Lol I am a list maker, but like you sometimes things do not get completed. I hope you are having a great week. Thankyou for the sweet visit. Hugs.
DeleteLooks so yummy! And the sunflowers are lovely. I finished your "Beelieve in Freedom" pattern while on vacation and now need to frame or border it. Thanks for sharing generously.
ReplyDeleteI am so excited to hear that you finished Beelieve in Freedom. I know you will finish it beautifully. Thank you so much for stitching it. I hope you had a very lovely vacation as well. Thank you for the sweet visit. Hugs
DeleteThat cobbler looks really good! Congrats on all the stitching time, hopefully this week was as good on that front.
ReplyDeleteOh thank you so much, Kate. It was very tasty. I had a great week working on several quilts. Fingers crossed I can do the same in the upcoming week. Lol. Have a lovely week.
DeleteI just love those butterflies. <3 Thanks for sharing in the Sew & Tell Party. I look forward to seeing what you have to show this week.
ReplyDeleteOh thank you so much, Melva. I am enjoying this quilt so much and am already looking forward to creating another one. I hope you have a great week. Hugs
DeleteThat blackberry cobbler looks wonderful!! My granny used to make the best ones. The quilted churn dash and butterflies are beautiful and the cross stitch is awesome! Thanks so much for linking up with Monday Musings! I'm almost caught up visiting everyone after being gone for the week!
ReplyDeleteOh thank you so much, Brenda. It was very yummy though not like mom's LoL. There is nothing like grandma's cooking is there? I am moving right along on my butterfly quilt. I hope to work on it some more this week. Have a great week.
