Short and Sweet and a Little Dessert.

 Good evening ya'll.

The blackberries are ripe!

So that means cobbler time!  So grab you a bowl and a cup of milk. I will get the whipped cream.

Mr. Pinker has been bustling about in the kitchen trying to replicate mom's blackberry cobbler.   I think he did a pretty good job.  Mmmm! So juicy!

I have been quilting this weekend. I popped the Churn Dash quilt into the hoop. This is my 15 minute a day project.

I also completed 2 more butterflies in my Butterflies from Heaven quilt. I have 9 blocks complete-  11 more to go.

Sunflower Sunday stitching is going on as well.

Now onto the plans for the week.

Did I Get'r Done... Well   -  Last Week's Goals were...

  1. Quilt a block in the Summer Days Quilt.

  2. FFO a new Saltbox cross stitch.

❌3. Work on new crock cross stitch.

  4. Quilt at least 1 block in my Butterflies from Heaven quilt.  Yah! I completed 2!

  5. Work on August Doodle Block.

  6. Can, can and can more of the veggies to put up for the winter.

Hmm.... What Should I do This Week?

๐ŸŒž1. Quilt a block in the Summer Days Quilt.

๐Ÿฆ‹ ๐Ÿฆ‹ ๐Ÿฆ‹ ๐Ÿฆ‹ ๐Ÿฆ‹ ๐Ÿฆ‹ ๐Ÿฆ‹ ๐Ÿฆ‹ ๐Ÿฆ‹ ๐Ÿฆ‹ ๐Ÿฆ‹

Well that was short and sweet.

Wasn't it?  Now lets go eat our cobbler.

As always...

    1. The cobbler was so yummy, Diann. Hubby went out and picked the berries that very day. If I picked them, they would have never made it to the kitchen before I would have gobbled them up. Lol. Hope you are having a great day. Hugs.

    1. Lol I wish I could send you a big bowl of cobbler, dear Mary. It was delicious especially since it was fresh berries. I try to hit a couple of things on my list through the week, but sometimes I do stray. I love it that you just pick up whatever that you feel like working on. Have a wonderful week. Hugs and blessings.

  9. I would love some cobbler, but can't eat blackberries, either. Love Marion berries from Oregon, and red blackberries, and everything else in that family. Miss them! Have an extra piece for me! Good plans. Waiting for Friday stitchery!

  13. Our family's favorite blackberry recipe is Martha Stewart's Lemon-Berry Pudding Cakes. To die for! (comes up easily on a google search). Our blackberries haven't done well in a couple years but hubs hasn't had time to really take care of them. (plus, we're slowly doing a garden reset, building new raised beds etc so I think we might just start over with new plants.)
