Short and Sweet.

Good evening, ya'll. It has been a hot and stuffy day today- quite a contrast from a cool 77 degrees yesterday. Since the day was so cool yesterday, I pulled my sewing machine outside and spent the evening piecing on the patio. Sew  much fun.

More progress was made on the red, white and blue quilt. I'm not sure what I am going to call it.  Any suggestions?

Six blocks completed and 6 more needed. The antique quilt which I saw on Bonnie Hunter's blog had sashing  and borders . So  I think I will be adding them too.

I also completed a few little nine patches for a future project. A super fun leader and ender project.

These blocks are 3 1/2" unfinished. They will be making their way into a little quilt  hopefully soon.

Thank you for stopping by today  and taking a moment to see my quilting projects for the week.  It was a short and sweet post, but a delight. Have a wonderful weekend and as always...

 Happy stitching, ya'll

  3. Sweet blocks, I will be waiting to see what you do with these. I have a bunch of 4-patch and 9-patch that have bee languishing in my sewing room, wonder if I have enough of red, white and blue to stitch together as a quilt beginning?!

    1. Aah thank you so much, Mary. I just love piecing four and nine patches. I have a little quilt in mind from Kim Diehl's new book that I hope to get to this week fingers crossed. I am like you . I like to see how other quilters cleverly use four and nine patches. Have a great weekend.
