  1. Oh my goodness - you're practically following in our footsteps from our travels this year! We stayed in Alliance for a couple of days - saw Carhenge. I think Dobby's western town was there too. Did you by any chance see the Archway? or the Golden Spike Tower? (Dh loves trains.) We stopped by thinking it might be just a tourist trap (Archway) but that place was amazing! Glad you had such a good time. Blessings

    1. Oh that is so amazing, Donna. We were going to go to the Golden Spike but I was with my parents so we did not get to stop, but I will put both on my list for the next trip. I love it out in that area. It is so beautiful and it was nice visiting the area in the fall as well. Hugs

    1. Oh it is beautiful out there. I wish I could have stayed a bit longer and really roamed around. I did get to see Dignity. She was amazing. Of course I had to get photos of her too. They were doing a little maintenance around her so we had to view her from a few feet , but she was so beautiful . Have a blessed day.

    1. Oh it was , Jenny. Mt. Rushmore is quite magnificent and is so interesting and Carhenge was so much fun. They have one car available for visitors to personalize and add their names which was one of my favorites to look at. Enjoy the weekend.

  9. Oh, the corn palace! I loved stopping there each year to see the yearly change in the look of it. And some of the badlands are quite beautiful. We came close to buying some land there.
