Happy Love Day! And A Valentine's Freebie

Good morning, Sweetie Pies and a very Happy Valentine's Day to you!

I just wanted to pop in for a quick visit and  share a little Valentine called "Love You With All My Heart.

The little heart pillows are made from old clothing.

I say this to both my grandsons every night when I wish them a good night's sleep.

I stitched "Love You ..."  on 14 count aida  which  I dyed with Charcoal Rit dye.

I am always finishing my pieces into little pillows. Hmm how many little pin pillows does a gal need? I don't know, but I keep creating them.

I tore a 1/2" x WOF  strip of fabric and created a long ruffle for a trim. I then pinned it along the seams.

I whipped stitched the ruffle down which bunched the ruffle- just my style.❤🤗  There were   a lot of strings to clip from the fraying but that's ok. ✀

Wallah! My Valentine was done!

If you are interested in stitching this piece,  just grab , the images. For printing tips, refer to the post Tips for Printing which has loads of tips from my sweet friends.

Do you have any special plans for this fine Wednesday?

Mr. Pinker and I will be enjoying a long romantic stroll through several thrift stores. 😀❤ A day of junkin' sounds pretty fabulous to me! Hee! Hee!  And just maybe I will come home with some thrifty treasures.  I have my fingers and toes crossed for a quilt top or better yet a quilt, but we will see. If I have any luck, I will let you know.

You have a beautiful day, my friends and  remember...
I love ya!😘🤗

As always...

Happy  Stitching and Quilting, y'all

  1. Hello, Thank you so much for yet another CUTE CUTE pattern to stitch! You are such a creative person, and I love the way you decorate your shelves etc. I had seen your blog a while ago, and kept thinking I was able to resist ( getting back into ) cross stitch embroidery, but noooooo I have succumbed and have made several little things to decorate for today. I found a few teeny tiny tray things in a thrift shop at the weekend too! So thank you for sharing your ideas, and a Happy Valentine's day to you too! Best wishes from across the pond, from Holland.
