Gotta Spring in my Step & A Spring Freebie

Happy Spring, ya'll!!!
Today is officially the first day of spring.

Come on birdies. Sing till your heart is content!!!!

Mr. Pinker and I rolled in from our camping trip yesterday evening. I do not have any photos to share for we had a cold weekend with spurts of rain and yes even a few snowflakes. ⛈❆๐Ÿ˜ฒ
Mr. Pinker's fishing tournament was cancelled and so he happily chauffeured me around to any thrift shop that was in a 20 minutes drive. So you can imagine I was one happy camper.  ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜

No grand finds this trip , but a few knick knacks to fill my thrifting pleasure.

I couldn't resist a bowl full of teeny clothespins. They may go in a mason jar for the laundry room. The grape tea pot will be on display come summer time.

Mr. Pinker found the cross stitch clock. I had to have it.  He even found the Air Force badge for my daughter.

I needed the baskets like I need a hole in the head, but they are oh so cute!!!!

The crystal candy dish went in and out of the buggy several times.  Then the candy dish whispered" You know you want me"

And of course , I smiled and said " Yeah , I do!"
So off it jumped into my buggy all for the price less than a happy meal. Can't beat that with a stick.

Then the stitchery hollered and said " You can't leave me behind!" So it jumped into my buggy too. It was mayhem I tell  you. ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜‚
Isn't the stitchery darling though?

So enough about thrifting adventures .

Do you have any plans for today?   I will be putting away my St. Patrick's Day decor and pulling out more spring of course that will be in between loads of laundry.  I also look forward to catching up on blog reading and IG.

I do have a spring stitch to share with you. It is simply called SPRING.
I stitched this last year, but did not finish it until the other day. I found a silver tray in my stash and mounted it on it and added a bow made from Dollar Tree ribbon.

If you are interested in stitching Spring  ,grab the images below. Many of ya'll know but I always encourage you to read my little disclaimer and note about getting my charts.

NOTE: Normally I have been able to create links to the charts and instructions which were in JPG form. For some reason, recent updates on Google Docs. has prevented me from doing that and I am not able to create a pdf without having to deal with storage issues.  Many dear stitchers say they right click, save the image and then print.  I think some have copied and pasted it to a Word document that they can print off as well. I hope you are able to find a way to enjoy this chart. You will have to click each page to save. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding and for all of the helpful tips and ideas.

I stitch my little designs for fun and to decorate my home. I feel very blessed by this community and love sharing my little charts, but I am not a professional designer. And I do not have professional software. Thank you for understanding . I am always grateful for your kind encouragement , your visits, and for stitching my little designs.

Alright my sweet friends. I do wish you the most blessed and beautiful first day of Spring and I hope your week is filled with joy and love!!!!   Because you are the best and you deserve it!!!!!❤❤❤

Thank you for dropping by for my Monday Rambling.

As always,

Happy Stitching and Quilting, ya'll

    1. I agree, Susie. Our cardinals are very vibrant and even the bluebirds are as well. I enjoy watching them at the feeders. The weather has been crazy here lately. I hope that it is starting to warm up in your area after a cool weekend. It is supposed to warm here by the end of the week. Happy Spring. Hugs.

    1. Oh thank you so much, dear Janet. I bought 20 yards of the 5 mm pom pom trim from Amazon for around $10.00 . That should last me awhile . Lol. I think it was labeled YYCraft Pom Pom Ball Fringe. Those little pumpkins have the cutest turkeys heads sticking out of them. Lol. They are salt and pepper shakers. They were too cute to pass up. Have a great evening. Hugs.

  9. Sorry about the weather and Mr's fishing but it did have a silver lining with all the thrifting fun you had. The cut glass candy dish is a beauty and I really like the brown glaze pitcher. That style has a name but I can't think of it. Beautiful Spring quilt at the end. One of yours? Thank you for the adorable Spring stitch. I love it!

    1. LoL Ginny I always say that if there is a drought in the area invite me to go camping there for rain is sure to follow, but we enjoyed every minute of our adventure. And I had a great time thrifting. I have always wondered what the brown glaze pitcher and crocks are called. I quilted the small quilt years ago ; it was a Piece o ' Cake design , but my memory fails me on the name of it. Hmmm. I am going to have to look that up. Have a great night. Hugs.

  13. Happy Spring, Melisa! You did have another good haul! That pitcher in the first picture (LOL) reminds me of my Mama's sweet tea jug! It was so heavy, especially filled with her wonderful tea! And that candy dish is AWESOME, and the stitchery as well! I'm definitely jealous of those finds!! Sorry your trip was cold and wet at times, but those store were a ray of sunshine to you, I'm sure!

    1. We had a great time though the weather changed our camping plans. I always enjoy thrifting. I can just imagine how heavy your mom's tea jug was for this one is heavy on its own. I haven't thought about serving tea out of it , but that is a great idea , plus it is prettier than my plastic one. Lol. Hugs.
