I bet ya'll never thought you would see this happen! Yep an empty hutch! Lol 😀 Don't worry it did not stay empty for long. Ya'll know me I'm a clutter bug.
Welcome, ya'll Happy, happy Sunday. I thought I would share some of my turkey country clutter.
After cleaning my hutch, I pulled out some vintage lace and battenburg valances to use as shelf runners. I then layered in my plates which included some pumpkin plates from the Dollar Tree and my platters that stay on the hutch year round.
Above the top shelf, I added a bit of Dollar Tree fall garland and then added in the gobblers and stitching.
In the top corner, struts a grand turkey tureen. OH TURKEY GIBLETS!!!!😜 I broke the ladle as I was pulling this gobbler out. Lol. That's okay though. I'll find another one.
Next to it is "Happy Thanksgiving " by Bent Creek . Lisa, a sweet stitchy friend, let me borrow the chart a few years ago.
In the middle of the shelf is one of my newest cross stitch pieces called PUMPKIN & BITTERSWEET SAMPLER . I have not posted it yet.
The frame which is so pretty is a wee bit small and cuts off some of the stitching, but I was just glad to get this piece popped in before the end of the season. I am still keeping my eye out for a larger fame.
Thanksgiving House is the salt box that I stitched last year. It is one of Thanksgiving favorites.
Along the side of the hutch hangs a dried orange slice, and cinnamon string that my sister bought me. It smells heavenly . A Walmart "Thankful " sign hangs near it .
Sliding down to the 2nd shelf.
In the center is this gorgeous piece of brown transferware that I bought earlier this year. It is a Currier & Ives piece and is called "Harvest" . In front of it is a Miles Standish salt shaker along with GIVE THANKS which I posted earlier and sweet Priscilla Ewe , that I finished onto a Dollar General wooden pumpkin.
In the corner sitting on a Gather block that my daughter gifted me is FALL 1869 CROCK .
Is this Indian turkey salt shaker not the cutest? I bought a pair of these last month at the Goodwill. He makes me smile. My fabric pumpkin was made from one of my old shirts and is just sitting on 2 Dollar Tree pip garland wreaths .
In the opposite corner is my new Gather white pumpkin. I got it the other day from the Dollar General. The Dollar General has their Harvest pieces of sale for 50% in order to clear the shelves for Christmas. Next to it is Primitive Hare's freebie "Give Thanks" which is another on of Thanksgiving favorites
On the bottom shelf , I added one of my large transferware turkey platters. Because I was wanting to show off my transferware, I did not add a whole lot. Well not a whole lot for me 😀😂🦃🦃🦃🦃
In the corner is my Better Homes and Gardens pie dish gifted to me from my mom a few years ago. I think she bought it from Walmart.
Below it is With Thy Needle and Threads "Give Thanks" which I finished in a tart tin.
I changed the bowl in my old vintage juicer and added "PLIMOTH CO. " a freebie from The Sampler Maker's Farmhouse and a wee sampler that might be from Heart in Hand or is it Bent Creek . Do you know who designed this piece? My memory fails me
I stuffed a small wire basket with Spanish moss and some stitcheries including Pumpkin Pie Stamp, Cornucopia Stamp and "Give Thanks" a Lizzie Kate freebie.
In front of it is Autumn Blessings which I stitched last year. It is one of mine that I have not posted yet.
In the large turkey planter beside the scale is Turkey Creek Manor which was my 1st Turkey saltbox.
Dear Patricia knitted this darling dish cloth and gifted it to me last year. I keep it out year round and change out where it is displayed. I love it so much. Thank you again , Patricia.
In front of my vintage scales is Jean Farrish's Give Thanks . Jean posted this on her blog in the October 10, 2020 post.
On top of my scales are a couple of bowls gifted to me by my dear sister . In them are Blessed which was a 2020 freebie of mine and TURKEY TIME which was an Erica Michaels freebie which was posted on her Facebook on November 13, 2018. ( Thank you , dear Birthe for the information on this chart. Hugs)

I am very grateful that you stopped in or a tour of my country clutter. This will all be going away in just a few short days and Santa mugs will be taking its place. I am so excited !!!
Ya'll, I have pie shells to prepare, and I have to get the turkeys into the fridge. Mr. Pinker is busy cracking pecans for pies , breads and sweet treats. So I better get get to work. Have a wonderful day, my dears and as always...
