The tree sits in an old bushel basket that my grandmother painted about 40 years ago.
I also included little chalkboards with sunflowers drawn on them. The chalkboards are actually scraps of rough cut wood salvaged from a building project; they were destined for the burn pile so why not making something from them.
The large farm picks are from the Dollar General. I have them scattered all throughout the tree. To finish the tree off, I added some black and white buffalo check ribbon. The tree will see a little tweaking here and there, but for the most part I am happy.
Thank you for visiting.

Love it all. Did you make the sweet doll that is peeking out from under the tree ?
ReplyDeleteOh, I so appreciate it. I didn't make that little doll. I believe she came from ABC Distributing about 20 years ago. She is one of my favorites that I pull out each summer. I love the little birdhouses that line her little dress.
ReplyDeleteLOVE this sweet Tree!!! I should do one like this in my Kitchen for the Summer...Soon, I will be doing a Fall/Halloween Tree in the Kitchen....I also see a pretty pink and a green wall in the background...I too have rooms in these colors!

I can not wait to see your Halloween tree.I am going to put up a fall tree and then Halloween. I have a couple of year long trees. They are so much fun to keep up. My living room is in pinks, and reds with lots of plates and china. I think I like a lot of things that you do. The green wall is a little hall. It needs to be repainted but I want the same color. I enjoy color in my decor for sure. , Hugs, Melisa
