I did finish my newest saltbox which is surrounded by blue stars and little snowflakes. Quite wintery looking if I do say so myself.
Alas, I did not bring my "finishing supplies" to fully finish it into a pin pillow, but that is ok I will get to it in due time.
This little saltbox is called Mary Elizabeth Coat's Winter Saltbox and is named after one of my distant relatives . I never knew Miss Mary, but I would like to think that she would enjoy living in a little blue house surrounded by her 6 rambunctious children.
I stitched Mary Elizabeth Coat's Winter Saltbox on 14 count tea/ coffee dyed Aida that I dyed myself. The design size is 67 x 67 which on 14 count Aida measures around 4 3/4" squared.
