Saturday Salutations , Sweet friends.
Graphic from Pinterest
I have found that while traveling , applique is the easiest type of project to work on especially while traveling in a truck camper.
Little Baskets are in the works. ( I am not sure what the name of the quilt will be though.😀)
| I appliqued these blocks while Mr. Pinker explored the mountain side. |
I prepped this project a few months ago. I believe I will applique red baskets on a blue background and blue baskets on a yellow background- at least that's my idea today.
I am going to keep it short and sweet and leave you with a few small basket quilts that I have worked on in the past.
Have a "blueautiful day! " 💙💙💙

ReplyDeleteJust the cutest baskets, Melisa!! Here you are in the desert and we are waiting for a huge snow event here. We had red, red skies this morning and not only sailors have to take warning, I think!! It is 5 degrees actual temp and -3 windchill right now...brrrr --good day to sort my scraps...as soon as my back is turned they start to multiply it seems...;))))

ReplyDeleteWow you have a made a lot of lovely basket quilts! That is a pretty start on your next one. Do you actually ride in the camper part while your husband drives?
ReplyDeleteI can see why hand stitching would work better in a camper situation, Melisa - sewing machines take up space! Your red baskets are so pretty on the blue floral background. Enjoy every stitch!
ReplyDeleteThe red baskets on blue and blue baskets on yellow sounds yummy, Melisa! Have fun stitching away as you travel!

ReplyDeleteI am always inspired by your bravery with drawing up your own pattern for things. I would bet money that every one of these basket quilts came directly from your own imagination. Simply Wonderful! (oops! this got put in the wrong post)
