Happy Embroidery Thursday , Ya'll.
Not a lot going on in the holler today, but I still thought I would pop in to wish you a very beautiful day!π€π
I have pulled out my crayons.
Today I will be working on "When Life Gives You Lemons" which I shared on Tuesday.
I will continue adding a little color and then begin the embroidery.
Later Mr. Pinker and I will go pick up the grandbabies from school. The youngest lost his first tooth yesterday. He was quite excited that the Tooth Fairy came for a visit.

ReplyDeleteHave a great day and greetings from Germany,
Gabi
Happy Thursday , Gabi. I hope you had a very lovely day. I was so excited to get a photo of the goslings. They are as sweet as can be. Thank you for the sweet visit.
DeleteSo much cuteness with your Ready, Set Color project! I have a huge set of crayons so when stress or anxiety gets the best of me I pull out the crayons and assortment of coloring books. So soothing and relaxing! BTW, I always enjoy your embroidered quilts. I need to make one or two soon.
ReplyDeleteI agree, Darlene - coloring is so relaxing. I still want to buy crayons come school time though I do not need them. Lol. I have really been enjoying working on embroidery here lately especially on Thursdays when the grandchildren are here. It is a quick project to pick up without having to think to much. Lol. I hope you create you an embroidered quilt in the near future. Have a great day.
DeleteEnjoy your time with the grandboys, Melisa! You are right about the cuteness of the goslings, but indeed they (and their parents) are so messy.
ReplyDeleteAaah thank you so much, Robin. We had a grand day. The boys jumped in the pool as soon as they saw it was ready. Oh yes you do have to watch where you step when geese are around. Lol. Happy Thursday.
DeleteEnjoy the time with your grandchildren, which is something wonderful and irreplaceable.
ReplyDeleteA hug
Awww thank you so much, Isabel. The grandbabies keep me on my toes and I enjoy every minute of it. Have a beautiful day. Hugs

DeleteAdding coloring to embroidery is like frosting on the cake! Goslings are worth the mess with all their cuteness. I don't remember seeing the Eggs mini quilt before...very cute!
ReplyDeleteI agree, Ginny. It has been awhile since I have colored an embroidery block ; this has been a very relaxing and fun project. I am still working on the embroidery. I was looking through my blog last night wondering if I had shared the Egg mini quilt. Have a wonderful weekend. Hugs.
DeleteI remember an embroidery I did years ago. I did the stitching first and then my grandson colored in the areas. I'm not sure I still have it - may have given it to him so he could keep it as a memory of what we did together. I have to admit that memory brought a tear to my eye. Thinking about it, maybe I'll do a bunch more and have everyone color it in and make a quilt. Maybe your mason jar patterns? :-) Blessings
ReplyDeleteAaaw that is such a sweet warm memory , Donna and a wonderful activity. I think a quilt that loved ones worked on together is even more special especially when there are grandchildren involved. Have a wonderful evening and a fabulous weekend. Hugs.
DeleteLooking great! I'm so happy you shared it with us.
ReplyDeleteAaw thank you so much , dear . I have been working on the embroidery tonight and hope to finish it soon. I truly appreciate the sweet visit. Have a wonderful weekend.
Deletemerci pour tout!
