Summer Stamp Sampler Reveal

WHOOP! WHOOP ! WHOOP! and a big ole' YEEHAW!

The Summer Stamp SAL has come to an end.

All of the stamps are stitched, and the big sampler is in its frame.

Goodness, I have  had a great time these last few weeks sharing the summer stamps.

I want to thank everyone who dropped in for the sweet visits and for cheering me on. I also want to thank those who have stitched along with me. I hope  these little stamps brought a bit of joy to your day.

I stitched the Summer Stamps twice . The large sampler was stitched on 14 count Rit yellow dyed Aida.

If you are interested in how I dyed my 14 count Aida, I shared the process in a previous post entitled Let's Dye Some Fabric.

I framed the sampler in a thrifted frame temporarily until I find a frame that I really like.

I then stitched the Summer Stamps into little pin pillows on 14 count coffee/ tea dyed Aida.

🌞Time to Dye-  2024 post on how I tea/ Coffee Dye my fabric.

The trim around each pillow is two strands of chenille yarn that is twisted and tacked to the seams of the pillow.

🌞Pin Pillow Tutorial - 2023 post on how I finish my pin pillows with chenille trim.

So let me do a little review of each stamp. Remember, if you missed any just click on the colored links, and you will be magically transported back to the post with the charts.

  4. I finished the sampler and love it! I bought yellow dyed fabric and it was supposed to be 14 ct but it’s 18 ct which I figured out while stitching. Doesn’t quite fit (it’s a little small) my 8 x10 frame so I’m going to have to get creative. I’m in the process of working on the beach stamp on tea dye and 14 ct this time. Thanks for the SAL.

Our blackberries are starting to ripen, but this heat may get them if we do not start picking soon. I am so sorry yours is not doing well. 7. The Summer Sal looks fabulous. I love the yellow. I am going to stitch the summer SAL pillows on the yellow! I am not adventurous enough to dye the fabric myself LOL, I have purchased it. I hope it is similar in color to your fabric. I am stitching the sampler on beautiful beige - all 4 are on the same fabric. This has been so much fun - I am loving every stitch. Thank you - have a great weekend. Alicia
