Quilts in the Wild- Wordless Wednesday

Is it Wednesday already? By golly, it sure is! This is just a quick pop in to wish you a lovely day . 

I have been reminiscing over quilts that I photographed outside and thought I would reshare some of them today in a Wordless Wednesday post.

  1. Howdy!!! Ironically, it just occurred to me that tomorrow is already Wednesday!! The days seem to fly by - woosh!!!!

  2. Good Morning and a Happy Wednesday to you too! Love your "quilt show". Especially the yellow and black one. I've always wanted to try one like that. Will have to search for instructions on how to make it. Thanks for sharing!

  4. I love photographing quilts outdoors! You have some beautiful places for doing that, Melisa. I don't remember seeing the leaf quilt before - it's a beauty!

    1. Aaaw thank you so much, Diann. It is a lot of fun photographing outdoors particularly Spring thru Fall. I bought the leaf blocks at a thrift store years ago and pieced and quilted them not long after. They have a "Spring " vibe to them don't they? Have a fabulous day and thank you for dropping by.     thank you for your beautiful quilts this morning. your message was very short, but sweet. i love the quilts.
    they're all very nice, but my preferences are the one with the leaves and the other one is the butterflies. so colorful. you are so creative young lady.
    i wish you a fantastic Wednesday. you are right - we are advancing closer to Friday. now that i'm retired i still look forward to Friday, but when i worked Friday couldn't come soon enough.

    1. Hello sweet Debra. How has your week been? I hope you have been having a wonderful time in the quilt room and it has not been too awfully hot. It has warmed back up here . Still I have enjoyed some nice days outdoors. It is so nice to be retired isn't it? I feel the same I still look forward to Fridays and the weekends and all they have to offer.   7. I would be hard-pressed to pick a fave among these beauties, Melisa;000 I hope you are having a super week...I went food shopping early on this morning; we will be having chicken pot pie for dinner with boiled potatoes and sliced cucs--yummeeee

  10. As beautiful as they are , they are even prettier outdoors. I can’t stop admiring the tumbling leaves quilt. As always, thank you for sharing. I will be working on Clementines Cat soon. Want to make it for son’s fiancรฉ who has a very handsome black cat of her own

    1. Aaw thank you so much, Aline. I bought the maple leaf blocks years ago at the thrift store. They were a little wonky but that made them even more charming in my eyes. I pieced and quilted them shortly thereafter. I feel fortunate to have found those blocks. I wish you a blessed and wonderful weekend. Hugs.
