The Beginnings of My Kitchen Sink Quilt

Do you remember those 4 patches I was working on a few weeks ago?

Well,  they are making their way into a bigger block! Each  block will be   made up  with 2 1/2" squares (unfinished )  and  one  4 1/2" blue square ( unfinished).  The finished size of the block will be 8"

Eeeh I am excited about this quilt!   I was inspired by  Katy at Katy's Quilt . She shared her quilt  in her October 2021 post . She named it Paper Chains.  I immediately became quite smitten. ❤❤❤

I will be calling my quilt Kitchen Sink because I am throwing all kinds of fabrics in it from Easter to  Christmas   and everything in between.

I have been playing with the layout of the blocks . In the end, however, I will arrange mine like Katy's

Alrighty , I am off to piece more blocks! Thank you for dropping by for a sweet Monday visit.

 As Always,

Happy  Stitching and Quilting, y'all

Melisa

Thank you for the sweet visit.

  4. I failed to mention that Kitchen Sink is a perfect name for your new quilt. Last night I had a kitchen sink layered with colorful vegie scraps after I made a very tasty salad for dinner/supper. Yummy, yum, yum. LOL
