Home Again

Home again! Home again! Jiggity Jig!

Happy Monday, y'all and welcome. Mr. Pinker and I have made it home after another long camping vacation. ⛺

We moseyed along the back roads and bayous , enjoying relaxing days at  various camp sites.

Mr. Pinker fished the rivers and lakes...

While I sat at camp and stitched the afternoons away.

Working on a mini sampler

I even worked on appliqueing lots of heart blocks.

In the evenings , we would enjoy a campfire as we swatted the mosquitoes away.

And sometimes we enjoyed a lovely sunset.

We enjoyed good food.

And great entertainment at the tractor pull.

There were a few rainy and stormy days. But on the bright side , we found some morels.

And made other interesting discoveries in the woods.

We only had internet service for a short period ; we decided to not purchase a whole month of Starlink service. But that was ok ; we all need a little down time every now and then. 😊
With that being said, it will take a few days for me to catch up on emails and such. So please do forgive me for being out of touch these last few weeks.

A beaver lodge

Well Sweeties, I will let you go. I wish you a beautiful day...

As Always,

Happy  Stitching and Quilting, y'all

Melisa

Thank you for the sweet visit.

Dedicated to my baby sister, Amy  who loved to camp as much as I do. I  love and miss you, Amo.

My eyes see a tree bark heart.💚

I am joining these lovely ladies' link parties. I hope you check them out; they always have so many wonderful projects going on and provide the opportunity for other needle workers to meet.

    1. Aaw thank you so much, Donna. We had a great time. The water was up and hubby was able to kayak and catch a few , but bummer- no keepers. LOL. I was hoping for some fresh fish, but that was ok. I hope the month of April has been treating you well. I was thinking about you when the storms came through a couple of weeks ago. They were pretty scary. Hugs and Blessings.

  20. Where were you camping this time. I grew up mostly in TX and LA and associate crawfish and shrimp boils with Louisiana since that's the only place we had them. Love the hearts and the alphabet stitching. I'm a fan of samplers.
