It Has Hopped Back into Rotation!

 Hello there, Honey  Bunnies! Welcome!

I pulled out my daughters' quilted bunnies for display. When they were young, I would purchase them one each year for Easter. They have quite a few.

Once settled for the day, I will work on the 2nd Durene Jones "Bunny Egg which I am stitching in DMC 221 on coffee / tea dyed 14 count aida.  Thank you so much, dear Marianne. I am enjoying these eggs so much. ❤🐰🤗
The 2nd Durene Jones Bunny Egg in the works.

It is back! The quilt that is never going to be finished. Hee! Hee!😂 It has been a blue moon since I have showed you my Easter quilt. I just have been too plumb embarrassed that it is taking me so long when there is so little to quilt.
🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰

Can I finish it this year? Hmmm, I am not sure. Maybe. I better get to hopping on it though.

  2. I love your Easter Eggs. They are very cute!
I don't remember your Easter quilt. I must have been napping during that segment of your blog posting LOL
You're heading out? Moseying down the road or just another part of the lake? Whatever you two are doing don't forget to have fun. I'm not sure what I'm doing today. I've been sewing quite a bit and have a stack of blocks to assemble a quilt top. I want to applique so maybe I'll prep something. As the day progresses, we'll see. LOL Happy Sunday to you and Mr P. Big hugs DarleneJ

  8. We always seem to have so many many choices of 'the next' project??? I wonder if we spend too much time 'thinking' about which one we want to do--instead of just picking up one and doing it????? Love how the new house is coming along--how to finish it will just 'pop' into your head-when you aren't even thinking about it!! Here's on idea--that just popped into my head--but all those --I could--work on ideas on pieces of paper--put in a jar and pull out one at a time--and then make yourself work on that one---I know it sounds easy--but?????

  9. What a nice place to relax and work on your pretty projects, Melisa. I find lakes to be so much more relaxing than being by the ocean. Love all your bunnies and I hope you do finish that Easter quilt--it looks so cute with those fun fabrics! Happy April to you on Tuesday! ♥

  12. You're right. You got out some things we haven't seen in a while. The Easter quilt will get done when it gets done. No police here. Sure is a pretty, Spring quilt. The No Name Sampler is such a lovely stitch. Is it deciding things on it that has it stalled or just too many other fancies catching your eye? I can relate with that one. I have to stay very stern with myself or I'd be flying off where ever the wind blows with new things. LOL

  16. You've got so many interesting projects going on... and please, don't feel bad that you aren't finishing something fast. I find I jump around projects depending on how I am feeling each day. I barely did any actual stitching yesterday... picked 3 backing fabrics on line as there is no quilt store near us anymore. But I did get a good inch or two done on a knitting new winter hat. I give these hats to a group that donates them around our communities. I'm trying to make a dent in my yarn surplus! (I"m not talking about the fabric stash!)

  18. Oh, Melissa, don't ever be ashamed when a project takes much longer than anticipated. We all have an oldie somewhere that we still love but don't finish because there's always a new project to do. Haha. It will be an awesome quilt when finish, so I do hope you finish it this year. I'll try to finish mine this year too just to encourage you. Let's do this girl! ;^)
