Snow Basket- A Winter Freebie & A Mini Basket Parade

A very Happy Wednesday to you, sweetie pies!  The last few days have been quite  lovely outdoors with the temps being mild and comfy. I have enjoyed watching the birdies flutter to and fro among the feeders.

I have never seen a bird eat the seeds from a sweet gum ball,  but yet I was fascinated when I spotted this one doing just that.

Any whoo! What a day yesterday was!! Instagram problems kept me on my toes with someone trying to be little ole' me. I hope that the impostor was not bothersome to you and  your day.  I am so sorry if they did message you. Hopefully, it will be straightened out soon.

I was able to share my Red Heart Mini Valentine Sampler

Well today I wanted to share a Winter/Christmas freebie. In fact this is my 1st ornament finish for Carol at Stitching Dreams #12in23ornamentstitchalong. Thank you so much Carol for hosting it again and of course for inspiring us.   🤗 🎄🎅🤶

This is SNOW BASKET. And in that basket is Mrs. Flake from Flurry & Flakes SAL . She is  nestled in a basket of snow  and of course Mrs. Flake is cheering Mother Nature on for more snow. ❆❅❄☃⛄

I finished "Snow Basket"  into a pillow ornament with some chenille trim that I found at Walmart in the yarn section. I added a loop of the chenille yarn as a hanger which I can tuck to the back if I just want to display it in my dough bowl.

If you are interested in stitching Snow Basket  ,grab the images below. Many of ya'll know but I always encourage you to read my little disclaimer and note about getting my charts.

NOTE: Normally I have been able to create links to the charts and instructions which were in JPG form. For some reason, recent updates on Google Docs. has prevented me from doing that and I am not able to create a pdf without having to deal with storage issues.  Many dear stitchers say they right click, save the image and then print.  I think some have copied and pasted it to a Word document that they can print off as well. I hope you are able to find a way to enjoy this chart. You will have to click each page to save. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding and for all of the helpful tips and ideas.

I stitch my little designs for fun and to decorate my home. I feel very blessed by this community and love sharing my little charts, but I am not a professional designer. And I do not have professional software. Thank you for understanding . I am always grateful for your kind encouragement , your visits, and for stitching my little designs.

I used 9 DMC floss colors in this piece  which include 815, 301, 356, 3345, 937, white, 931, 898, 3371  and stitched it on 14 count tea/coffee dyed aida. On 14 count, this stitch measured 3 1/4" square.

As I was looking at this stitch earlier, I was thinking it would beso pretty with small white seed beads for the falling snow.  Hmmmmm! 🤔 That might be something that I go back and do later.

Well sweeties, thank you for dropping by for a visit. If you stitch this little lady, you may want to keep these flosses out for the next basket stitch which I will be sharing in the next day or so.

Have a beautiful and blessed Wednesday, ya'll.

 As Always...

Happy quilting and stitching, ya'll

  10. How strange, an imposter? I dont do Instagram so cannot really comment on your problem. Isnt there a saying about copying being the highest form of flattery, or something like that?

We have a blue jay that shoos the other birds off until the squirrels come. We have not had snow here yet; maybe next month. Stay warm and cozy, dear friend.
