Berries Galore Hutch Tour

A berry good day to you! πŸ“πŸ“ Welcome, Sweetie Pies , please do join me  in the kitchen. I am sure I can rustle up some sweets to eat. And how about some iced tea or a cup of coffee with side helping of good ole' chit chat? πŸ˜€

Guess what?  I have some country clutter to share with you. My hutch is filled to the brim with strawberry goodness. I would love for you to join me as I show you what I have done.  I sure hope  you like it.

Can you tell that I am a maximalist? Lol. I love the country clutter. ! ❤❤❤πŸ“πŸ“πŸ“

For shelf liners I used 1 yd of red buffalo checked fabric from Walmart. I divided into thirds and folded each rectangle to line the shelves.  I then added in the plates. Did you know I am a plate-aholic? I just love plates!  Do any of you suffer from the same affliction?

The plates that I used for this month are all from the the thrift stores including the red Pioneer Woman plates.

On the top shelf , is Strawberry Manor,  a house that I have not shared yet.

It is sitting in wee red colander. Below it is  Spring on the Farm  which I finished in a Dollar Tree tray that I painted white.

We have always had a red truck on our family strawberry farm so I added a ceramic truck candle and gingerly place a strawberry toothpick holder in it.

Sitting on the vintage bowl is  Spring Farmhouse  which is modeled after my Nanny and Pa Pa's country home .

Are your eyes crossed yet? πŸ‘€  I sure hope not for there is still more to see.

On the 2nd shelf is a stack of white bread plates. The vintage juicer sits on top of them. Can you tell that I like to layer?

Well anywhoo , I placed a Pioneer Woman bowl on the juicer and filled the bowl with lovely stitches  as well as a knitted dish cloth gifted to me from dear Patricia.

In the bowl is Red Heart Mini Sampler ...

one of Lori Holt's stitch cards design...

and "Strawberries" . Is this a Lizzie Kate? My mind escapes me.

I placed the Strawberry Jam Jar  on top of the vintage sugar bowl.

A wee strawberry postcard quilt created years ago is next to it .

The 2nd bowl on the shelf is filled with strawberry goodness as well .

There is a large pinkeep .

Strawberry pinkeep

. "Strawberries" is from Little House Needleworks. I also tucked in the "Eggs and Chickens " quilt.  It is all rolled up into a teeny bundle. I shared the Eggs and Chicks Doodles in July of 2023.

Plates, plates and more plates are on the bottoms shelf.

Though you can not see them, there are 4 ironstone platters in the background.

The strawberry tea pot is nestled among some white ironstone with 2 mugs in the corner.

"Sweet Strawberry " is a freebie from Caroline at Cosmic Handmade. It is a strawberry favorite of mine.

Front and center is Spring  Farm Pasture  . It is the 3rd and final stitch in the Spring on the Farm series.

Isn't this the cutest Lizzie Kate stitch? Strawberry is a freebie found on the Lizzie Kate website.

Two more quilts drape from the shelf.  One is a simple quilt made from leftover red fabrics.

The 2nd is a wee strawberry mug rug.

So tell me do you think I can squeeze one more berry on to this hutch? I would I end up making a"strawberry jam " of it all!πŸ“πŸ“πŸ“

If  you have a hankering to look at more of the same old clutter, I invite you to check out previous strawberry or spring related hutch tours. You will see some of the same things, but just dressed a little different.

In 2023, I did not post my strawberry Valentine's  hutch.  It included lots of jadeite and chickens.

In 2022 I posted my Berry Spring Hutch

Lots of reds and anything berry related.

  1. Oh my goodness, oh my goodness I'm crazy about everything in your hutch! It doesn't look like clutter to me - just lots and lots of eye candy! I'm going to pump up the tires on my bicycle so I can come visit you. Could take me a few days but I'll be there ASAP. LOL Enjoy your Tuesday and stitch, stitch and stitch some more. Darlene J

  2. Well, agree. I also would come, it takes only an eleven hours flight. But wonderful things you show. I always wonder how you do all that. The day has only 24 hours. I think you can stop the time or you have a magic lamp to do housework etc,.
Have a wonderful day and greetings,
    Gabi

    1. We would have a time, Gabi. I sure wish you could come on over. I had a ball pulling out all of my strawberry pieces . Lol I do wish I had a magic lamp and a genie to help me with all of those pesky chores so I could quilt and stitch the day away. Wouldn't that be nice? Hee! Hee! Hope your day has been sweet. Hugs.

    1. Aaaw thank you so much, Julierose. I think the collecting comes naturally from both of my grandparents. Nanny loved to thrift shop and Granny saved what she had because it was a must . I hope your day has been a wonderful one.

  20. Always love your "Hutch Tours". They are so filled with intrigue and surprises and things where I go oooh and aaaah. Inquiring minds want to know ... how long does it take you to set up each time, and stash away? Then in between times, whatever do you do with everything? Theme boxes for storage ? And my goodness, that must mean a lot of storage!! Love your displays and appreciate your sharing them with us! THANKS!

    1. It just warms my heart that you enjoy my hutch tours. I have really enjoyed changing out the hutch these last few years. It takes about an hour to take down and put up the new display. I usually already know what the theme will be and where all of the items are. The strawberries except for the quilts and stitching are put away in a cabinet, but most of the items do have there own boxes and bins. I have meant to share where I store things. I always wonder the same thing in respect to some of my favorite bloggers and Youtubers. I am always looking for ideas on storage. LOL. But I use every nook and cranny of my house and outbuildings for storage and everything is packed down tight as a whip too. Lol. Thank you again for the sweet Tuesday visit. Hugs.
