Have you got snow yet? We had a few flurries earlier in the week , but nothing to write home about. It sure has been downright cold though. Brrrrr! Thankfully, by Monday we will back into the mid 60's. Now I do think I can handle that.
A new addition has been added to my ever growing neighborhood. I call this piece "And the Snow Fell... Or The Cardinal House".
A sweet vine of blooms encircles this grand red house. A darling cardinal is making its way home.
Up on the housetop is a deer. Hmmm perhaps it is Rudolph or maybe it is Dasher.
With all of the flakes, it looks like a cold day at The Cardinal House.
So what do you think? Do you think this would be a good home to get cozy in? I sure do.
The design size of And the Snow Fell is 88 x 83 and on 14 count aida that measures about 6 1/4"x 5 7/8". I stitched mine on 14 count aida that I coffee/ tea dyed myself.
There are 17 DMC floss colors in this piece which includes: 301, 317, 318, 355, 420, 610, 646, 730, 731, 815, 830, 838, 934, 936, 3371, 3858 and Blanc.

DeleteOh I like this little house Melisa! I like Donna P's idea for a bead - I always forget about beads. Do you ever have thunder snow at your location? I long for thunder snow! Probably will never see it here, so we need to move back to northern Oklahoma where we had it last. ;)
