Good afternoon , Sweet friends and welcome. I hope the first few days of January have been treating you well. Me? Well - though Mr. Pinker and I have been busy, the year is off to a roaring start. 🌟🎉🎉🥳

Speaking of quilting.😀 Just in the nick of time, I finished piecing Pretty in Peach Butterflies quilt.
This is the 3rd butterfly quilt that I have worked on in honor of my dear sweet sister.
It has been hard to get a good photo of it on these dreary overcast winter days, but I took it out into the yard and tried to get a few happy snapshots .
The pieced and appliqued blocks each measure 15" finished. I think the nine patch variation blocks look like flowers. What do you think?
Each butterfly is appliqued on a pretty peach background. I will tell you the story of this quilt holds later as I quilt on it. It is sorta a bitter sweet story.
It is hard to choose a favorite butterfly block, but the brown butterfly reminds me of my sis . Though she was bold and vivacious, she loved earth toned colors.
While her older sis- Me? Hee! Hee! Loves bright colors. But I bet y'all have figured that out.
Pretty in Peach will go into the hoop very soon perhaps it will flutter into the camper and make its way to the wild West where those beautiful scrappy butterflies were appliqued in January of 2025.🦋🦋🦋 Hmmm 🤔we shall see.

Meanwhile a new butterfly quilt will be in the works soon.
Alrighty , Sweeties. I best get off here. We will be on the road soon so my visits or being able to respond may be sporadic since we will be off grid.
Off I go! It is time to ride!
P.S. In the next few days, I will be posting some backdated posts that I meant to post in December. If you are interested feel free to pop over and visit them. I will give a heads up when I post one.
Have a great day. ❤
As Always...
Happy Stitching and Quilting,
y'all
