Mollie William's Homestead- A House Freebie

The sun is shining and there is a slight breeze . It is a beautiful Saturday. Welcome, ya'll.

Oh I am so excited!!!  I would love to show you my newest house stitch to add to my little neighborhood . This is not a saltbox, but  a patriotic log cabin. It is called Mollie William's Homestead.  Would you like to live in this house? I sure would!πŸ˜ƒ❤🏑🏑

The front lawn is adorned with a cedar rail fence, flowers, bee skeps and a couple of tabby kittens.  There are lots of bees as well.

Mollie William's Homestead with Sarah Jane's 1776 Saltbox  and Freedom Saltbox. The berry is a future freebie ( Eeh sneak peek!)

There are 14 DMC colors that I used in this stitch which includes: 301, 610, 646,782, 815, 898,  924, 926,   937, 3328, 3371, 3721, 3858 , Blanc.   Mollie William's Homestead is stitching on 14 count tea dyed aida. Click here if you are interested in seeing how I tea dye my fabric . I am a bit of messy dyer. πŸ˜€

The design size is 69 x 77 and on 14 count aida , it measures about 4 7/8" x 5 1/2" .

If you would like to stitch this homestead . Grab the images below.

    1. Good afternoon, Cindy and Happy Saturday. Oh yes, the side of the house is blue. I am not sure why DMC calls 924 & 926 a gray green. I would think they are a gray blue. I hope you enjoy this little stitch as much as I did. Have a wonderful weekend and thank you for the sweet visit.

  4. I messed up some how, so I took out the before post. What an awesome house stitch! So many great parts to it! I know that you often name your stitches after family, so who is Mollie? My Gr'mother was a Williams, also. Hey, wouldn't that be something if we were kin? HA!

    1. Aaah thank you so much, Ginny. It is hard for me to choose what was my favorite part to stitch. It was a lot of fun. Oh how neat, Ginny ; it would be something if we were long lost cousins. lol. You never know. 🀷 Mollie was my great great grandmother . I also dedicate my 1869 crocks to her ; that was her birth year. Have a very lovely Mother's Day. Hugs.

  19. As a matter of fact, as long as there is running water ... and a bathroom inside ... I would love to live there! Doesn't have to be totally convenient or have electricity, but water and warm showers and a fireplace would be nice. =) Love the look of the new stitchery!
