Scrappy Hourglass Piecing

 I am mooving right along!

Happy Thursday y'all. The other day while Mr. Pinker was out, I spent uninterrupted time at my sewing machine and enjoyed every minute of it.

I finished  32 Scrappy hour glass blocks.

These blocks will go along with the 25 patches that I made last week.

All  fun blocks in The Ribbon QAL offered by Alycia at Quilty Girl. Alycia shared Step 3 this Wednesday. Soooo I better get to work..

Have a fabulous day!

 As Always,

Happy  Stitching and Quilting, y'all

  1. Love your scrappy blocks!! That's going to be a super cute quilt. I'm stitching my fingers down to the bone. LOL Yesterday afternoon I made two little quilts, and they have joined the growing pile of little quilts that need to be quilted. Ugh!!! I really should dedicate some days to quilt, quilt, quilt. Happy, Happy Thursday! Hugs, hugs, hugs, DarleneJ

  8. We do love our men, but that uninterrupted sewing time - not having to stop and cook or "honey come look at this" - it's priceless, right? When Hubs worked in an office, I used to simply eat some chips with fruit juice for lunch then get right back to it - yes poor nutrition but hey I survived. ;)

    1. Oh yes, Linda you are so right. I had a blast in the sewing room just piecing away. I have had to adjust with hubby being home. Luckily, he has his hobbies that take him outside most of the time. Hee! Hee! Hmm chips and fruit juice sounds fine to me. LOL Hugs.

    1. Aah thank you so much, Ginny. I am enjoying every minute of this quilt. I do believe it will be a quick piece as well. That little red pickup truck was a gift. Isn't it cute? I am not sure but it might be a Stitching with the Housewives piece, but I am guessing. Warm hugs.
