Good morning, ya'll.
This not so wordless Wednesday post is straight from the farm.
I took some of my quilt out to take photos as hay was being cut. These went in my foyer which I will share later this week. Have a great day, my friends.
Happy Stitching and Quilting, ya'll

Great setting to take pics of beautiful quilts! I remember hay baling day...back before those huge round bales. Had a lot of sore muscles!! LOL But great memories!
ReplyDeleteAah thank you so much for the sweet Wednesday visit, Brenda and for the kind words. Oh yes, I remember those days too. As a kid I loved sitting on the hay wagon and after all of the work was completed we would go jump in the river. Lol Have a great week . Happy quilting.
DeleteYour quilts are lovely, Melisa. What a beautiful day you had!

ReplyDeleteOh thank you so much, Donna. I made that quilt years ago and it has been in several local quilt shows. I always get compliments on it. It is one of my favorites. Have a blessed evening.
DeleteI love your quilts!! That coneflower one is soooo sweet. What a sweet moo-moo cow at the top of the post too.
ReplyDeleteAaah thank you so much, Susie . The Coneflower quilt is extra special . it is made up from a lot of my daughter's clothing so there is a lot of sweet memories with that one. Lol I love taking photos of the cows. They can be so funny. Have a great evening.
DeleteI love the smell of fresh cut hay and grass! Your quilts look wonderful against the farm (and implement) back drops.
ReplyDeleteOh I do too. There is definitely a sweet smell to it. The quilts fit perfectly with the yellow rusty hay rake. I had a devil of a time from keeping it spinning though. Lol. Have a great day and thank you for the sweet midweek visit.
DeleteNice for you and your quilts to get a little playtime outside in the sunshine!
ReplyDeleteOh it was so much fun, Jenny and it was not too hot. I would love to have a clothesline to hang the quilts on , but a metal gate did just fine. Lol. Hugs and blessings.
DeleteAaah thank you so much, Cil for coming over for a visit. That means so much to me. It warms my heart to hear that you enjoy my humble little blog which is filled with lots of rambling and bits of quilts and stitching. I hope you enjoy each and every stitch in the saltbox series. A flat fold finish would be magnificent. Have a great week and happy stitching.
