Mystery Autumn Stamp SAL - Stamp 9  -  Cornucopia Stamp Freebie

My  Autumn Parade Post  which I posted on August 31, 2022 also shows more fall freebies.

I have a few Thanksgiving stitches that I hope to share with you over the next few weeks.  I am so sorry that I have been slow about sharing them sooner. I just can not keep caught up.

My newest Thanksgiving freebie is  called Turkey Holler Saltbox. I was inspired by all of the turkeys that we have in our holler. Sometimes I am lucky enough to see them in the yard.

 I stitched this saltbox on 14 count coffee/ tea dyed aida.  The house is stitched in DMC 524 and 522 . Aren't the colors so lovely?  There are 11 floss colors which include DMC 610, 712, 782, 730 (NOT 3345 which I mistakingly wrote on the instructions, ) 898, 221, 838, 840 , 919, 524, 522, 3371, 301. . It is a small measuring 75 x 70 which on 14 count aida measured about 5 3/8" x 5".

If you are interested in stitching, Turkey Holler Saltbox grab the images below. Many of ya'll know but I always encourage you to read my little disclaimer and note about getting my charts.

NOTE: Normally I have been able to create links to the charts and instructions which were in JPG form. For some reason, recent updates on Google Docs. has prevented me from doing that and I am not able to create a pdf without having to deal with storage issues.  Many dear stitchers say they right click, save the image and then print.  I think some have copied and pasted it to a Word document that they can print off as well. I hope you are able to find a way to enjoy this chart. You will have to click each page to save. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding and for all of the helpful tips and ideas.

Many of you know , but I always like to leave this little disclaimer.

I stitch my little designs for fun and to decorate my home. I feel very blessed by this community and love sharing my little charts, but I am not a professional designer. And I do not have professional software. Thank you for understanding . I am always grateful for your kind encouragement , your visits, and for stitching my little designs.

 I do have 2 OOPS!

1. I used 730 as the green  NOT 3345. So please change that on the instruction page.

2. At the top of the chart on the limb, the yellow leaf symboled as Y is not attached to the branch. Move it up and delete one stitch as shown below. The scissors points to the area on the chart.  If you have trouble, on seeing the OOPS let me know.

The leaf should be positioned on the branch and one yellow stitch on the bottom of the leaf should be omitted. THIS IS THE CORRECTION.

Now for the charts . Remember you have to grab each image. Sorry that's the only way I know to share now.

Don't forget;  change the DMC 3345 on the Instruction page to 730.

I do  not think my colors  and symbols show up well on the colored chart.  So I wanted to let you know the following .

The Roof is stitched in 610 and 898

The Turkeys are stitched in 898 and their wings 840

The ground is 730 as is the star in the pumpkin.

The tree is 898.

I hope that helps out.

Thank you so much for stopping by on this 1st Tuesday of November. THURSDAY I will be sharing my FLURRIES & FLAKES EMBROIDERY SAL . Hope you drop in to see my 1st block in this snowman quilt. Perhaps you may want to join me.

Have a beautiful day and as always...

As always...

Happy  Stitching and Quilting, ya'll

    1. Aaah thank you so much, Joy. I had a lot of fun stitching this saltbox especially using the fern green floss colors for the house. It just warms my heart that you stitched Frosty with me last year. A blue quilt would look amazing. This one is going to have a bit more details. Made I am enjoying working on the new blocks. I hope you like the new snowmen. I just put Frosty in the hoop this week so I am hoping to make progress on it as well. Have a great week, Joy.
