Decking out the Fall Tiered Tray and a Fall Doodle

Hey there , Punkin!!! Happy Happy Thursday!

I am not going to chat your ears off, but I just wanted to pop in and say hello and  to wish you a super day!  I also wanted to show you what has been going on in my neck of the woods today.  I hope you don't mind. πŸ€—

I finished decorating one of my tiered trays ,and it is filled to the brim with all things fall.

This tiered tray sits by my corner kitchen sink and beside my collection of kitchen utensils.

The top tray is filled with Dollar Tree faux wooden plaques, leaves and pumpkins , and you may find a chicken in the mix as well.  I elevate my fall  clutter by putting some of the pieces on cups or on the lids of candles.

The bottom tray has lots of yardbirds just lounging about among the fall leaves and punkins. They are enjoying the idea of the upcoming fall season.  I always add my Scarecrow salt and pepper shakers to this tray.

Though it is still hot around here, I have been lighting a few candles in the evening. Of course they are pumpkin scented .

Gosh ! Somebody left the barn gate open for the top of my corner counter above the sink has chickens and cows galore.  I haven't decorated this section for fall yet. Everything needs a good dusting and then a pumpkin or two .

It's Embroidery Thursday.

I will continue working on Boo Wagon.

Boo Wagon is in the works. My scissor fob is  my Little Jack Trifle . Willowisp Manor of Holler Lane is in the background.

I do have another doodle for you just in case you are interested. It is called "Fall Basket" . I may have to applique it though.

πŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒ πŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒ

If you are interested in stitching this piece,  just grab , the images. For printing tips, refer to the post Tips for Printing which has loads of tips from my sweet friends.

πŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒ πŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒπŸŽƒ

My little doodles are hand drawn so they are never perfect.  How fun it would be for you to turn some of your doodles into something special.

Now I didn't ramble too much, did I? πŸ˜‚πŸ˜ƒ Oh , before you leave , let me show you my " Thankful Thursday" stitch I am working on .

This will be a freebie at some point. I am sure a gobbler or two will find their way into this stitch.

Thank you for spending part of your busy day with me. That means more to this ole' gal than  you will ever know. 😘

As always...

Happy  Stitching and Quilting, ya'll

Melisa

Thank you for the sweet visit.

A grateful heart is the best kind to have.

Hugs and Stitches!!!!πŸ€—πŸ§΅❤

Dedicated to my baby sister, Amy. Love and miss you, Amo

  10. So many things to love in this post today. Thanks for the Fall Basket doodle. So cute! Bunches of cute chickens and the stained glass rooster is so cool and I want a galvanized tiered tray like you have, too! Yours looks to have 2 levels and I only found a 3 tier on Amazon. I will have to keep looking. I suspect some sort of maybe pilgrim couple in the new stitch? Looks very interesting. Enjoy the rest of your day, Melisa.

    1. Aaah you are so sweet, Ginny . I am looking forward to working on the Fall Basket . I had high hopes to work on it this past weekend, but I didn't get too. I bought the galvanized tiered tray a few years ago at Walmart. I also have the rectangle one. It is amazing how much the trays can hold. I hope you find the perfect one for you. Oh yes, I am trying my hand at creating some Pilgrims . I worked on them this weekend. Have a great week and thank you for the sweet visit. . Hugs.

  12. I think all those mischievous scarecrows let the cows and chickens out! OK, I'm hooked. I'll go get a few fall decorations out of the basement. I played bandit this afternoon and along with a baggie filled with old sewing supplies (including a thimble that actually fit my finger...DH wasn't as impressed as I was), I picked up a pretty little blue pottery bowl for 89 cents at our St. Vincent store. Not collectible, just plain cute! Hmm, would it make a good perch for the blue saltbox house and some snow folk this winter? Thanks for all the ideas!

    2. Lol I bet those scarecrows did leave the barn gate open. Hee! Hee! I am going to have to keep an eye on those guys. Oh how fun that you found some goodies while thrifting, Kris and sewing supplies at that! Wow on the blue pottery bowl!!! You did make out like a bandit. There is something about blue pottery that grabs my heart too. Have a wonderful week, Kris and thank you so much for bringing a smile to my day. I hope you find more awesome finds soon. I would love to hear about them. Now I want to go to the thrift store. Lol. Happy fall decorating. Hugs.

  15. Great Fall Display, I love fall but won't see too much fall colors here for a great while. Arizona is still in the middle of summer, a little cooler but still in the 100* +. Have a wonderful funfiilled weekend. Hugs from sunny Arizona.

But gosh we are nowhere near the temps that you have. It doesn't seem like fall is approaching with 100 degree temps does it? Wishing you cooler weather and a blessed day. Hugs.
