DeleteI'm busy putting together 'kits' of various pre cuts (I've made from my scraps) & I'm waiting to see what you do next with the 4 piece parts and the yellow blocks. I'm thinking this might be another idea for a kit to have ready when I just want to sit down & sew. Can't wait to see where you go with this - and with the crumb blocks (I've also saved containers of those to be used later, too)! So far I have nearly 30 of the plastic shoe boxes full & ready to go with various blocks for each quilt. Thanks! Deb E
ReplyDeleteOh how fun Deb. I look forward to posting more about this quilt here soon. It would be a great quilt to kit up and work on. I have cut lots of strips and made great progress this week using them as a leader / ender. I hope to work on the next part to the block this week. Crumb blocks are always fun to work on. I am still debating on what to do with them. But it makes me happy to use up those little pieces. Have an awesome week. Hugs.
DeleteFirst let me say that I enjoy your blog and am addicted to your cross stitch patterns. Going through past postings of your blog, I saw a stitch from 2021 called "The Marcher of the Flag". It is so cute and I would love for you to post the chart for it....please!
ReplyDeleteAaah thank you so much; your sweetness just warms my heart. And may I say that I am very honored. I also want to thank you for asking about that stitch, Laurie. I have an affection for patriotic women. I will try to pull that one together for posting soon. Maybe this week if I can get the chance. Have a wonderful week and Happy stitching. Hugs.
DeleteLove the cowboy and cowgirl pics. I have some embroidery patterns similar to them I want to start one day and make a table topper. I haven't been here in over a year because they quit sending me your blog posts. I had to sign on through FB to get to here. I hope they send them but I'm very doubtful. Not the most pleasant company to deal with-can't even reach out to them. I'm too old for this aggravation. I didn't want to go thru FB but I caved so I could get in here at least.
ReplyDeleteOh how interesting that you had to go through FB to get here. I am not very tech savvy and am not on FB so I am not sure how that works. You might try subscribing by email again. "Follow It" kicked me off of some of the blogs that I followed and I had to resubscribe. I am not sure why that happens, but I often have to check if I am not getting posts from blogs that I follow. Isn't technology so frustrating sometimes? I am so grateful that you dropped by for a sweet visit. You might just try going to Google and typing in Pinker n Punkin and it may show my blog to click on too. Have a blessed week. Hugs.
DeleteTwo new Mystery Quits! Where will you lead us? Scraps and Strings - Fun! And that sunny yellow is perfect for a sunshiny quilt.
ReplyDeleteLol Ginny. Often the quilts are a mystery to me as well. Hee! Hee! Right now the crumb quilt is a complete mystery as to what I will do, maybe it will come to me soon. Have a great week. Hugs.
DeleteLooks like a fun scrappy project. I need one of those too. Enjoy plaing with all those colors and sunny yellow.
ReplyDeleteOh thank you so much, Kate. I am super excited to work on a new quilt even if it is a squirrel. LOL. Happy quilting. Hugs.
