Thank you so much for protecting the freedoms that we enjoy in this great nation!

And I would also like to thank my sweet daughter who serves as well. I am quite proud of her and my oldest daughter as well.
We will be enjoying a good ole' fashioned cookout including some play time at the pool .
Mr. Pinker and I bought fireworks for the boys to enjoy later in the evening.
I am sure with all of the noise the cows will be quite happy to proceed down to the lower pasture .
Hello there , sweet baby! |

Yesterday was a finishing day! I finished 4 of the patriotic stamps including my newest stamp - Patriotic House Stamp.
I have to admit this is my favorite of the patriotic stamps so far- I think because it has grand white house with Old Glory waving proudly.
If you are interested in stitching this piece, just grab , the images. For printing tips, refer to the post Tips for Printing which has loads of tips from my sweet friends.

I think these patriotic stamps are as cute as can be. Well at least in my eyes they are. I wish I had been able to share them earlier, but better late than never. Don't ya think?π°π
I'm pretty sure I will be adding more in the future for I do love anything patriotic.
Well I better get on the move. There is the grill to light, flags to wave and fireworks to pop!

ReplyDeleteWhat a darling stamp, Melisa! Your displays are amazing. It will be an at home day here and this evening, you will find me watching A Capitol Fourth. Happy Fourth to you and your family!
ReplyDeleteAnd a Happy 4th to you and yours. Please thank your daughters for serving. Not many women are thanked these days for their service. And thank you for the new stamp. I'm taking the day off from Christmas ornaments and am hoping to get my featherweight working - then again "someone" came out with a new patriotic stamp...Hmmm...what to do...LOL! Blessings.
ReplyDeleteA Very Happy 4th to you and your family, enjoy this wonderful day together!! Heartfelt thanks to your Service Daughter, and to all of our Military Service. Today will be enjoyed with family, friends and neighbors, hoping that fireworks time will be a little cooler. Love the Patriotic House, now I have 2 to finish before getting the grill ready! Gifting them to my newly American citizen and a wonderful neighbor. This even looks a little like their house, lol. Sending you very warm hugs and wishes from sunny/hot Arizona!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your collections, Melisa. I find a surprise in nearly every picture. Today it is the little "house basket" next to your Sarah Jane Saltbox stitch, not to mention the RW&B yoyo table topper. Now why didn't I think of that?! Hope you have (had) a wonderful 4th with the family. Things will be quiet at our house until the neighbors across the block provide the encore to the city fireworks! PS: Loved the "POP" stitch. Made me laugh!
ReplyDeleteHappy 4th of July to you and your family!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you had a grand 4th of July with your family, Melisa! Love your displays and the cute little stamp designs you've so generously shared with all of us. Thank you, as always ♥
ReplyDeleteI hope you had a nice 4th, Melisa. Your little stamp cross stitch pillows are adorable.
ReplyDeleteMelisa,

Such a great assortment of red, white, & blue stitches! The scrappy flag quilts, both finished and WIP, are so cute! Great idea!
