On the Road Again and Quilt Happenings

" On the road again

Just can't wait to be on the road again

The life I love is making music with my friends

And I can not wait to get on the road again..."  - Willie Nelson

Good morning , Pumpkins.  Yep! My bags are packed, and I  am fixing to be on the road again.    This time I will be heading to Nebraska for a fun filled fall family vacation. We will just be roaming around the state enjoying all there is to see and do. I have never been during this time of the year so this will be definitely be a treat.

From today until Sunday, Pam Buda  of Heartspun Quilts has a FREE download for her newest Quilt Archaeology Sew Along project called Pumpkin Spice. . If you miss downloading the pattern this weekend, she will be offering it at a low price after Sunday.  Pumpkin Spice Sew Along begins on her blog October 21  so run and get her pattern while it is FREE.  Eeeh I love freebies ! Don't you?

Blueberry Backroads has a TWO DAY FREEBIE for a wool applique called FRONT PORCH VALENTINE. You might want to download that one as well . Get it this weekend though if you want it as a freebie!  ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿค—

Have you heard about the Gremlins, Goblins and Ghouls Blog Hop coming up?  Joan at Moosestash Quilting is hosting the event. So many lovely ladies are going to be sharing throughout the week starting October 17th. . I am sure there will many treats and maybe a few tricks as well. We will just have to see. Eeeh ! I will be sharing a Halloween quilt on October 21st. I hope you will stop by for a visit.  Below is the schedule and a peek at who is participating.

Well , I just wanted to wish you a wonderful weekend and tell you that I will be back sometime at the end of next week. I will then have a few freebies to share with you.  Hope "On the Road Again " is not ringing in your head now. It certainly is mine. ๐Ÿ“ป♭♮ ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜€ I'll miss you! ๐Ÿ˜˜

  4. Safe travels and enjoy your family time! I've only driven through Nebraska, but would like to do more exploring in the future. I'm looking forward to a couple of road trips of my own: 2 days of the Houston Quilt Show in early November (a local quilt shop does bus trips, so I don't have to drive or park, yay!), and then a girls trip to Vegas right after Thanksgiving for the National Finals Rodeo. One of these days my husband and I will take a vacation together too :-)

I hope you have a fabulous time and I know you will find a lot of inspiration. Eeeh Vegas at Thanksgiving and the rodeo on top of that - sounds so exciting. I did not know the National Finals Rodeo was held there. I wish I could tag along too. Lol.
