This and That Tuesday and an Easter Spring Freebie

Happy Truckin'  Along Tuesday, ya'll. ๐Ÿšš

I am going to be truckin' along on a new truck  cross stitch today. The truck is almost completed. I just need to fill in the back of the pickup with some beeeautiful motifs.๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐Ÿฏ

It is time to change out the tiered tray by my corner sink.

Right now it is filled to the brim with chickens and my little red truck, but soon it will be sporting some pastel Easter eggs and whatever else strikes my fancy.

Some of the quilts hanging on the shutters in the foyer. These are fixing to be changed out too.

More hexies are in the works.

And how about  a rabbit stitch?

Let me introduce to you the sweetest bunny on the block- Miss Flopsy Tail. She is busy harvesting an early crop of carrots for her munching pleasure.

Miss Flopsy and Bunny Jar

She is stitched on 14 count tea/ coffee dyed aida and I use 14 DMC floss colors which include DMC 3740, 3781, 930, 931, white, 301, 356, 725, 937 , 898, 3371, 221, 223 and 832. The stitch certainly does not look like it had that many colors and of course you could condense some of the colors down.

If you are interested in stitching Miss Flopsy  ,grab the images below. Many of ya'll know but I always encourage you to read my little disclaimer and note about getting my charts.

NOTE: Normally I have been able to create links to the charts and instructions which were in JPG form. For some reason, recent updates on Google Docs. has prevented me from doing that and I am not able to create a pdf without having to deal with storage issues.  Many dear stitchers say they right click, save the image and then print.  I think some have copied and pasted it to a Word document that they can print off as well. I hope you are able to find a way to enjoy this chart. You will have to click each page to save. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding and for all of the helpful tips and ideas.

I stitch my little designs for fun and to decorate my home. I feel very blessed by this community and love sharing my little charts, but I am not a professional designer. And I do not have professional software. Thank you for understanding . I am always grateful for your kind encouragement , your visits, and for stitching my little designs.

Miss Flopsy has a sister stitch that I will be posting too. So stay tuned. ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿฐ

Alrighty , Sweeties . I did not ramble along today, but just kept it short and sweet. I hope you enjoy doing a "bit of this and that" for yourself today!!! Have a Terrific Tuesday and ...

As always,

Happy Stitching and Quilting, ya'll

Melisa

A grateful heart is a magnet for miracles.

Hugs and Stitches!!! ๐Ÿค—๐Ÿงต

Dedicated to my dear sister, Amy. I miss and love you so much.

    1. Aaaah thank you so much, Debbie. You brought a smile to my evening . I so appreciate your sweet visits as well. And it just warms my heart to hear that you enjoy my humble designs. The little ceramic red truck is from the Dollar General. It had a candle in the back of it , but I have burned the candle and now just enjoying using it around the house. I love the little red trucks. Lol. Have a great day.

  11. Such a sweet little bunny stitch! Love what I can see of the quilt behind the bunnies, too! And a Honey Truck! Lovin' it! Your hexie flowers hit another UFO quilt of mine. I am making one with very large flowers. I am not very far on this one. I like the basket quilt on the shutters. It is unusual and distinctive. Is it a find from a thrifting outing or a vintage treasure of family? I really enjoy seeing all of your lovelies!

    1. Aaah thank you so much, Ginny . I will have to take a better photo of my basket quilt that I made years ago; it was one of my designs. The basket quilt on the shutters is a thrifty find. I was looking at it today and thought I do need to quilt it very soon. I am drawn to the green fabric in it. Have a great week. Hugs.
