Good morning and Happy Wednesday, ya'll. I thought I would share a wordless Wednesday post - well I will call it a "Limited Word Wednesday". Any whoo. I thought I would share photos from our latest Mennonite community visit. Just a few snaps as we were traveled down the road. Hope you enjoy.
Thank you for the sweet visit, my dears and as always...
Happy quilting and stitching, ya'll

DeleteGreat photos! Did you go in the quilt shop?
ReplyDeleteAaah thank you so much, Vicki . We stopped but they were already closed. They closed at noon. Thankfully, the owner was at the community yard sale. So picked up a few pieces of fabric. Happy quilting.
DeleteGreat pictures Melisa. Love that washing line!
ReplyDeleteI bet you had to visit the quilt shop!? ๐
Barbara xx
Lol Barbara. I loved the washline too . Hubby asked why was I taking photos of laundry. Lol. Oh yes, I stopped at the quilt shop, but they were not open. Fortunately , the owner had some fabric at the community yard sale. So I did make a small score. Lol. Happy June.
DeleteLooks very peaceful.
ReplyDeleteIt was Deb. I always enjoy driving through this community and looking at the farms. Happy June.
DeleteWhat peaceful pics. I always love seeing the buggy signs. I hope you had time to take a peek in the quilt shop and maybe do a little bakery shopping?
ReplyDeleteI love seeing the buggy signs too. And seeing the actual buggies. The quilt shop was not open , but we did go to the produce stand and greenhouse. This is not a big community so there were no fresh baked yummies at that time. Thank you for the sweet visit.
DeleteI think you're getting Mennonite and Amish confused- Mennonite's don't USUALLY use horse and buggies- I could be wrong.
ReplyDeleteI had always thought they were Amish too, but one of our friends just asked one of the ladies one day and she said they were Mennonites. I have seen them ride bikes and a few in the town off the mountain which makes me wonder if they do have a vehicle or if someone took them. It is always a joy to visit their community. Thank you so much for the sweet visit, Sue.
DeleteWhat a lovely place to visit, I especially liked the clothes line, and the buggy sign!
ReplyDeleteThose were my favorite photos too, Jenny. It is always a joy to visit the community and see the large farms. Thank you for stopping by , my friend.
DeleteIsn't that horse the picture of patience? I hope you visited the quilt shop!
