Hello, Buttercup

Good afternoon, Buttercup and happy Friday. Whatcha up to today?

I have done my morning visits with family, and  I am now enjoying some porch time watching the birdies and fixing to begin working on the binding of this mini quilt which is made up of 1 " and 2" squares.

I may go to Dollar Tree later this evening, but we will see.

This month's Rainbow Scrap Challenge with Angela at So Scrappy  is Yellow!

Oh bright sun shiny yellow, you sing to my heart. My mind is whirling with ideas for using scrappy bits of sunshine.

Earlier this week before I knew of the color, I began a small mason jar quilt with a yellow background.

Embroidery work will be completed soon.

Yesterday I pulled out some of my spring quilts including this Piece of Cake design that I completed years ago.

That reminds me Joy at Joyful Quitler's Tablescraps theme is a small table quilt/ mat/ runner in yellows and in the theme of flowers. I already have a quilt in mind.

Any whoo. I love this Piece O' Cake quilt. My quilting was a lot smaller then that is before I broke my quilting hand.

Last night I started a new saltbox design. It is going to be strawberry themed.

I have a basket of berries and a running vine completed.

Well that's all I have got going on right now.  Now tell me are you enjoying sunshine or is it still chilly where you live?  Thank you  my dear friends for stopping by today and hope to pop in back with you tomorrow. As always...

Happy Quilting and Stitching, ya'll.

Melisa

Create your own sunshine!!!

Hugs and Stitches!!!

Dedicated to my dear sis, Amy who knew how to make people smile. Love you. 🌞🌻😼

I am joining these lovely ladies' link parties. I hope you check them out; they always have so many wonderful projects going on and provide the opportunity for other needleworkers to meet.

  2. I can't wait for the New Saltbox House, the strawberries are darling. It is a little cooler here today with the wind and some rain on and off, not much but a little, LOL. Love your Piece of Cake Quilt, I do love yellow and blue, bright sun-shiney. Hugs to you from Arizona.
