Prepping for a New Month

I spotted these beautiful orange flowers near our latest camp.

Angela at So Scrappy said that orange is the Rainbow Scrap Challenge color of the month.

So with scissors in hand, I have been cutting hexi papers and colorful scrappy rectangles.

Cutting paper and fabric for hexies.

I store my hexi project in the Dollar Tree totes. This is a project that I carry on my camping trips.

Several hexies are in the works.

This will be my Slow Stitch project for the next few days.

I hope you are working on something delightful. See ya' around the campfire.

As Always,

Happy  Stitching and Quilting, y'all

Melisa

Thank you for the sweet visit.

I am joining these lovely ladies' link parties. I hope you check them out; they always have so many wonderful projects going on and provide the opportunity for other needle workers to meet.

  1. Oh my this is just too funny. We are kindred spirits!!! I recently went down the EPP rabbit hole again. I did some during the pandemic and then set it aside. Having an even stronger desire to enjoy slow stitching I've started doing it again - this time with a vengeance. Prepping and stitching like my hair's on fire. LOL BTW, that orange with the colorful polka dots is too cute for words. Have fun and please be very careful. Big Stitchy Hugs, DarleneJ

  2. Totally enjoying all of your beautiful pictures and your sewing projects!! Except!! the scare encounter with the rude guys. Never really had that adventure. I did travel with a very large protective Husky and a loaded handgun which my son taught me how to use. Never used the gun but Rex was always ready to protect me and the camper!! Sending much love and hugs from sunny Arizona.
