I Have Plans

Sunny Saturday salutations!  I have packed  my bags and am ready to go!πŸ›»

I do have  plans to work on a few projects while on the road....

...like work on a patriotic embroidery ...

... and stitch on an autumn jar ...

and just maybe finish a new house stitch.

Hmm, I just wonder if I will get much done. πŸ€” I sure hope so. But I have to admit that sometimes the lull of the open road  sweeps me into dream land.πŸ˜΄πŸ’€ Hee! Hee!

                πŸ’šπŸ’šπŸ’šπŸ’šπŸ’šπŸ’šπŸ’šπŸ’šπŸ’šπŸ’š

I must not forget to show you my " On the Positive Side" blocks for the month.

Five happy scrappy green blocks for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge all pieced.

All of the  colorful Plus blocks  look so happy playing together.  Don't they?

And look- there is even some Christmas fabric thrown into one of the green blocks. πŸŽ…πŸŽ„πŸŽ…

Have you noticed that all my scrappy quilts have Christmas fabrics? LOL. I cannot resist using them.

Alrighty, Sweeties. I am off to enjoy the day. I just wanted to say hello and wish you a day of joy.

A little patriotic display

 As Always,

Happy  Stitching and Quilting, y'all

Thank you for the sweet visit.

  3. Is the covered wagon loaded and ready to roll on to parts unknown? Don't forget your "toys" and have lots of fun. teehee I spent six weeks "helping" my neighbor (she's the one that fell on her kitchen floor). She got a bit bossy and snappy recently so I quit - basically walked out. Enough was enough for this old girl. I plan to spend the week end sewing and stitching - wahoo!! LOL Making my list and checking it twice so I don't waste time. Sounds silly but I have been missing my needle and thread very much. Before I forget I want to say I love your Christmas fabric in your recent project. I love surprises like that in quilts. Happy trails to you and Mister Pinker!!! Big hugs, dear friend. Darlene J

    1. six weeks?!!! bless you my dear. that's WAY above and beyond. it only took me half an hour last weekend of my mil micromanaging my laundry efforts to send me running!!

    2. Yes, ma'am six very long weeks. I'd go make sure she had lunch and then it became loading and unloading the washer and dryer, putting the trash cans out on the curb, etc, etc, etc. When she started snapping at me I told her I was done, she could figure it out and I walked out. Ugh!!! Darlene J

    3. The wagon is loaded down and busting at the seams. Hee! Hee! Of course I packed loads of projects if only I could get to them all. Oh my, I bet you were frazzled to the bone. It is a lot of hard work as a caregiver .Bless your heart. You do need to pack your ole' wagon and head for the hills to relax too. LOL. But a week of sewing will certainly soothe your soul. Your neighbor was certainly lucky to have you during that time; I sure hope she realizes that. Sending you a big hug. Now you get to sewing! Hee! Hee!

    1. LOL I do to pack my stitching stuff first. I have several small shoe totes dedicated just for my quilting in the camper and I even put a sewing machine in there. I carry my cross stitch in the truck and yep, I stitch the hours away. During the winter trip, I stitched the Prairie Schooler mini Santas on the way out there. I was thrilled to pieces to get them stitched. Thank you for the sweet visit , Robin. Hugs.

  7. Have a wonderful time on your trip - praying the weather is nice for you and hubby. Your new projects look fun as well as the "wips". While looking at your new house, I noticed a little RV on the side...is that an ornament - Mill Hill? Blessings!

    1. Oh thank you so much, Donna. We have been watching the weather and are trying to side track as much of the storms as possible. I do not like being in the vehicle during poor weather. Oh yes, that is a little RV ornie that a sweet friend made me. I do believe it is a Mill Hill because she stitches a lot of Mill Hills . I keep it out year round. It is a favorite. You need one of those for your RV. Wouldn't be cute to have a little tree with RV ornies? Hugs and Blessings.
